13I’m almost embarrassed to say that I am one of those annoying weirdos who posts pictures of their food on Facebook. At this point it’s is become an inside joke. Whenever I posted photos of my meal I would prominently display a utensil and tag it with #spoonforscale or #forkforscale. Recently, I discovered a wonderful banana keychain at Five Below, so naturally I needed that for scale. It’s small and portable and definitely does not inspire anyone to say, “Is that a banana in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me.” Now when I eat out, I whip out my banana and place it on the plate to take a photo and tag it with #bananaforscale. Because it’s small and makes my meals look big, my brother usually replies #shenanigans.
As this month’s goat, I got to wondering, where would the banana travel, other than eateries? So, feel free to post photos, /showme, gifs, giphy, drawings, stories or whatever about the travels of the infamous #bananaforscale. Here’s one of my photos from a meal at Bahama Breeze to get you started.
