@sammydog01 You can catch them on Amazon from time to time for about $20. I got two pairs that way. I’d never spend $60 on shoes of any kind. I top out at around $30.
@Gypsigirl213 BUT LOOK AT ALL THE JIBBITZ!!! I buy mine from the Crocs website. They get really cheap there as long as you don’t mind wearing shoes with fish skeletons or camo on them.
FWIW, Crocs runs its own Outlet Store selling discontinued and overstocks on EBay.
The store name is “crocsoutlet”. Duh.
Prices are much nicer, and they run sales on top of the normal “outlet discounts”.
I love the way trad crocs feel, how they conform to your feet, and how your feet never feel sweaty oin them.
But the croslite material is so soft that the soles wear down quickly. And they have poor traction on slippery surfaces.
I wish they made some with a Vibram or a “tire-type-material” pavement-contact layer. Those would have traction, if done properly; and would really last a long time.
@f00l@OldCatLady@sammydog01 thanks for outlet on eBay info! Yes, the bistro crocs rock! Those are one of the two pairs I mentioned before. They’re my ‘indoor’ shoes because germs, and because they offer shock resistance whereas slippers don’t. And the soft rubbery bottoms are delicate on my original hard wood floors (early 1940’s).
@Barney@sammydog01 I bought the Bistro! No holes = extra swampy is right! I tried to like them but when I busted my ass going down a wet set of wooden stairs…
Literally, right on my butt. Tailbone more likely…my back was sore for a month. But for walking they had the right give.
Not in a box.
Not with a fox.
Not with socks.
Not in a house.
Not with a mouse.
I would not wear them here or there.
I would not wear them anywhere.
I would wear crocs you see
I do not like them, jrn.
Pizza slime?

I guess Crocs is trying to expand its customer base into people that would wear sweatpants that say “stop looking at my dick” in public.
@sammydog01 Haha. I wonder if mediocritee.com will make that shirt?
@sammydog01 @therealjrn $70. Jesus.
Not fit for human consumption:
@Gypsigirl213 I would buy them at the right price. $59.99 is not the right price.

@Gypsigirl213 @sammydog01 Or flashing Christmas lights.
@Gypsigirl213 @OldCatLady Yes, it’s almost time to dig out my flashing Crocs!

@f00l @Gypsigirl213 @OldCatLady Have you tried the bistro ones? They’re great!

I now have three pair. I’ve tried and I’ve tried, but I just don’t like them.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Barney Yeah, I’ve tried too. They make my feet swampy and they have poor traction on wet floors. But at least they are ugly.
@Barney @therealjrn The bistro ones have OSHA approved non slip soles. And they don’t have holes so they’re extra swampy!

@Barney @sammydog01 @therealjrn I don’t have the swampy problem with the bistros.
@Barney @Gypsigirl213 @therealjrn That’s why I wear socks with them.
@Barney @sammydog01 @therealjrn Ah, yea, that’s I guess why I don’t get swampy too. Socks. Always socks. I can’t wear any shoes without socks.
Nope!
@tinamarie1974 Not even a Croc with a v-neck?
@Barney haha. Uummmm, still nope!
@tinamarie1974 Not even crocs with socks?

@therealjrn @tinamarie1974 channeling your inner Dr. Ted Cruz?
@stolicat @therealjrn
I saw a croc yesterday.
@blaineg That’s really cool. But I don’t think I want that croc on my foot, either.
