@Barney@sammydog01@tinamarie1974 I have those - not JCP - they closed here. We just seriously lack decent grocery stores. We have a Sam’s, but no Costco close by. Whole Foods would probably not do well here based on our demographic - I will leave it at that.
@mfladd@tinamarie1974 What do you mean banjos playing in the distance? They’re right next door to me.
We have a WF and a Costco in the more affluent part of town. Walmarts are scattered everywhere else. I’ve never been to the Costco, although I would like to see it.
@Barney@tinamarie1974 We have no affluent part of town. No banjos, but I definitely hear them when I am driving down the Virginia portion of the eastern shore.
@Barney@mfladd@sammydog01 It really is, but OMG it was beautiful. I was there in the fall so I saw beautiful foliage and every morning there was fog rolling down the hills/mountains.
I remember the people I worked with being really genuine.
I had mine about 30 minutes before the promotion ended. Tasty! This was the first time in 4 years that I remembered Free Slurpee Day before it was over.
Dollar hot dogs too.
We don’t have any 7-11’s around here.
Why do I continue to live in this state that has nothing?
@Barney No 7-11s? Are you sure you even live in America?
@sammydog01 There are some near Kansas City.
I looked up a Google map for 7-11 and the third result showed “Kansas Bankruptcy Center.” Is someone trying to tell me something?
@Barney @sammydog01 They have all closed near where I am. Royal Farms and WaWa was just too much for them.
@Barney @mfladd @sammydog01 so no Whole Foods or 7-11?!?!? Do you live in an alternate universe?
@Barney @sammydog01 @tinamarie1974 That would be a yes. The newest thing we have is an Aldi’s.
@Barney @mfladd @sammydog01 OMG! How do you survive? I mean I live in a rural area, but I still have a JCP, Target, Wal Mart, etc close-ish

@Barney @mfladd @sammydog01 oh well that is not so bad. You had me thinking you could hear banjos playing in the distance at night.
We have two WF’s in the metro, but they are in more expensive parts of town.

@Barney @mfladd never been to VA, but I recall W VA being amazingly beautiful. I visited Shinnston many years ago. The scenery was breathtaking.
@Barney @mfladd @tinamarie1974 I took my kid to space camp there. Drove the whole VA section. I’m glad I didn’t select a hotel in some of those places.
And WVA is banjo country.

Aww man. No 7-11’s near me
Drinking it right now.
@smilingjack Meanie.
@smilingjack I got pina colada. You?
@sammydog01 Not even sure what it was. It was good and free and I think green.
disgustingly sweet

I wish I knew this 6 hours ago when I passed by one. Oh well, I like Icees better anyway.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
