@cengland0 Good simple math:) These are not bad at $1 a pack still I guess. They are handy to keep in the car or where you can't get to water easily. I've used them a few times since ordering last time, debating if I want more.....
@xEBRONx They work better than soap and water, and you can keep them with you for use in situations away from soap and water. I keep a pack in my trucks glove box, and a pack in my motorcycle luggage. They work great to clean me up after getting messy jumpstarting someone or changing a tire, etc.
@mbills2223 Scrub the blood off your hood. From when you hit that hooker. With a tire iron. Over top your car. What were you thinking? that spoils the fresh wax job.
@mbills2223 I keep a pack in my trucks glove box, and a pack in my motorcycle luggage. They work great to clean me up after getting messy jumpstarting someone or changing a tire, etc.
@mbills2223 I used them for cleaning hands after our Scout Troop spread black mulch in our annual funds raiser...kept my truck from getting dyed black inside. Also use them when I do oil changes and inevitably drain the oil from the car into my arm pit
Stop raising prices on me! The this is the second night in a row I am buying something I already bought for even less of a deal. I swear I will stop, eventually...
All kidding aside, I used these things tonight even. They are nice and still much cheaper than Home Depot.
@mehdaf I agree. I would probably have bought them if they were at least the same price as last time. Now that they are more expensive, that's a deal breaker. Buying it now would make me feel like I was ripped off and other people got a better deal than me.
@cengland0 totally. But, well, you could always justify it by still paying less now then you would in a week on checkout.org, or offers.com or whatever it is...
@mehdaf Except that the purchases I make from meh are impulse items and not anything I had on my shopping list. I'm not going to buy something that I know was cheaper earlier. Maybe a dollar or two difference but not a jump from $10 to $16.
I agree with @cengland0 this is a huge increase. When Meh used to run things a second day, the price used to be slightly lower. (See DJI Phantom) Then they started charging slightly more... Now it's a 60% increase, which is really huge. I mean, that's close to retail markup. There is a pricing experiment going on here at mediocre labs and we are the mice. So to the powers at be, yes I bought one at this price, but if it was the same or lower I would have bought the maximum I was allowed to buy. For those of you that can resist, please do so!
Seriously now, keep these away from your "intimate" parts. The blisters are just now starting to recede. On a happier note, the folding table we stored outside and recently grimebossed is looking sparkly!
These are great, I highly recommend them. Only downside of these bad-boys is the resealable compartment makes it harder to pull the wipes out. Can't really say the compartment works anyways, I typically use 3-5 wipes each visit to the bathroom so a pack is typically gone within a day. Wish I could buy more than 3.
Bought last time...will not be duped into paying more this time around. Come on, meh...prices are supposed to go down, not up. Who do you think you're dealing with the here?!
Picked up a pallet of these last time--seems like a pallet-worth anyway.
Truly good for all sorts of grease, grime, stains, and such, and the wife says that she's "actually happy about this Meh purchase" after a couple of my less-than-meh impulses.
Yes, we are happy with them and keep a full package in each vehicle, but a word of caution is in order: these are clearly intended to be HAND or skin wipes. On surfaces they do their job, but you'll note a bit of residue.
My guess is the 'moisturizing' agent, which is quickly dispatched with a wet washcloth or mildly-moist paper towel. Just plan ahead if you're using these to clean up fingerprints from flat-latex-painted walls or molded plastic in your automocar--you'll need to follow up to get rid of the greasy streaking.
So is it worth the extra effort? We think so. They're less abrasive than Magic Erasers but more efficient than spray cleaners and elbow grease. Much more convenient, too.
Sure I'd take the plunge again, if we didn't have so much backstock in the pantry.
I bought a crap load of these last time. I thought I would hand them out at a rib barbeque last week. Turns out I like them so much I decided to keep them all for myself. I was out doing yard work and got some grass stains on my hands. These wipes took everything off my hands, including a little skin with the abrasive side. Good stuff!
I was in for 2 last time around, and these are handy. I use them for the nastiest places around my cars. Love today's writeup. LOVE YOU GUYS (that I've never met).
Dang, that write up was ... touching? What's the right word for something sentimental and nostalgic without being garish? 'Cause that's what this write up was; touching (or whatever). Not to be too meta (given the content of the write up), but that's an odd feat for what would be expected to be just a product description.
I bought $30.00 of these the last time . I still have not opened a pack. I guess I should. I can't even tell you if they are worth buying. I know I paid less money for them.
umm..after that write up, I just had to write something. Anything at all to match the "meh-ness" of todays overpriced, cruddy product to the awesomeness of the daily pitch.
$1 a pack is a good deal. They are good wipes for hands/feet/shoes/objects. (at least for me - I don't really have delicate skin)
The two things I would say are: being thin wipes, they can tear if you scrub pretty hard with them, so they are not my choice for cleaning actual bad stuff (like perhaps dry, smeared-on mud, or dry, smeared-on poop, those types of things). For those I recommend Lysol's similar dual-action wipes, which smell worse but are sturdy.
They are great for cleaning hands and tools when working on the cars. I wish I'd bought more to give to my buddies. But at 60% more than last time I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger.
@narfcake Then bring a bucket or use spit, or go with dirty hands. Creating a bunch of trash and blowing your money on one-use cleaners just sounds meh to me.
@zorro ... and then the towel needs to rewashed afterwards (unless you're talking about paper towels, which are disposed of too). Using detergents. And more water. Doesn't that use even more resources?
I'm all for conservation; many times, I don't even use a towel after I wash. However, there are times in which wipes like these makes sense, like when you're out working on greasy/grimey/dirty tasks. My truck with almost 260k miles doesn't fix itself, y'know.
Got them last time and am quite pleased. Have put a pack in each car, one in the kitchen and one in garage. Have also turned on some friends to them. So basically I am mad I can't blame @narfcake for repeating this product --but I can blame him for raising the price!!
ok... I'm on to you... After opening the batteries up that came in the mail today I looked down and a black spot was all over my hands... (I've never seen black battery acid... but Weirder things have happened today alone.) So I go and wash my hands as I'm home and ya know... I like clean hands. Doesn't come off... Then I think to today's item and quickly find one of the packs of last time's purchase. Low and behold the scrubby side wipes off the black like it was nothing. I've ordered one already, but will I go back for another....
I certainly hope that you guys have these in the future. I have too many on the shelf to purchase more. Even at the increased price, these are a great deal.
might also be a good thing to sell them during the work week as I gifted many packs to co-workers who would mostly likely order more. they were a hit with just about everyone.
@sammydog01 Thanks, I forgot about that placeholder business. Was worried I might be getting something like an accidental shipment of leftover clothing-by-the-pound... ew.
@Alien@sammydog01 mine shows 19.2 pounds too. One thing I noticed for this order is they actually have my order number as the purchase order number. Now I can tell which fedex tracking is for which meh order. Cool!

Nice....Wait weren't these 16 packs for $10 last time?
@Stallion Yes, that's what it was. So it's equivalent to $16 for the same quantity that only cost $10 last time.
@cengland0 Good simple math:) These are not bad at $1 a pack still I guess. They are handy to keep in the car or where you can't get to water easily. I've used them a few times since ordering last time, debating if I want more.....
Pretty sure I saw them @ $4.99 per pack at Home Depot
@saodell Depot has them for $5.00 a pack.
@edwardsm6 damn. that's a difference to know about
these are good, buy them and wipe things
@Lotsofgoats like butts?
@42snails anything but that
No mehss
what happened to soap and water?
@xEBRONx They work better than soap and water, and you can keep them with you for use in situations away from soap and water. I keep a pack in my trucks glove box, and a pack in my motorcycle luggage. They work great to clean me up after getting messy jumpstarting someone or changing a tire, etc.
Link to the last time this was offered. https://meh.com/deals/grime-boss-hand-wipes
Again? What a grime.
this is one of the most meh products meh has ever meh
@HELLOALICE Hello, how's your job going? Good, I hope! :)
instameh #nofilter
Can someone explain to me why I want to buy this...?
@mbills2223 To clean grime.
@mbills2223 Scrub the blood off your hood. From when you hit that hooker. With a tire iron. Over top your car. What were you thinking? that spoils the fresh wax job.
@mbills2223 To be boss.
144 grime boss wipes. Gross.
@nadroj TOTALLY see what you did there. You clever little minx you......
I bought these last time and they are AWESOME. it'd be a "grime" to click meh on this one

@cengland0 same here. I was all set to buy but looked up what I paid last time and it was 16 packs for $10. :(
@mehdaf Same here - I got 2 packs this time, one for myself, one for my brother in law. They're great for garage work.
@mehdaf Except that the purchases I make from meh are impulse items and not anything I had on my shopping list. I'm not going to buy something that I know was cheaper earlier. Maybe a dollar or two difference but not a jump from $10 to $16.
@cengland0 But last time we got 2 boxes, 16 packs of them. So it's not that big of an increase!
@meow57 A 60% increase in price is not considered a big increase to you?
@mehdaf Agreed. Meh should stop raising prices. FYI: I do not blame @narfcake for this increase. It's obviously Obama's fault.
@mehdaf Inflation is a bitch, thanks Obama.
I agree with @cengland0 this is a huge increase. When Meh used to run things a second day, the price used to be slightly lower. (See DJI Phantom) Then they started charging slightly more... Maybe these will be good to clean the acid grime from those AAA batteries I bought recently.
Seriously now, keep these away from your "intimate" parts. The blisters are just now starting to recede. On a happier note, the folding table we stored outside and recently grimebossed is looking sparkly!
@jjohns71 Rub your "intimate" parts on the table. If the table gets blisters, then the problem is not the wipes.
I NEEEEED IT (spongebob)
The soft side is super soft, the rough side is super rough. They smell like dish soap. AAA+++ would wipe again
Have too many from my last purchase to order more. Works great, and depending on the clean up you can use a wipe multiple times.
Where's the speaker and lightening connector?
These are great, I highly recommend them. Only downside of these bad-boys is the resealable compartment makes it harder to pull the wipes out. Can't really say the compartment works anyways, I typically use 3-5 wipes each visit to the bathroom so a pack is typically gone within a day. Wish I could buy more than 3.
nooooope
@nrb Lana Kane?
@mehdaf You're awfully close to the
@Thumperchick
Lame, bring back the speakers!
don't store them upside down (in the car.) the liquid will leak out and stain your stuff.
@jaybird But then you can use them to clean your stuff. And they get their liquid back! Perpetual motion!!
I still have 1.5 boxes left from last time
Super useful stuff though
Would have considered another if it was at the rate it was last time
Yeah alright I'll bite this time and use my VMP membership. deeply-critical-riddle
Your order number is: garish-dreadful-paladin. Meets the Meh criteria of "something I may actually find a use for" and under ten bucks. VMP, ftw.
Bought last time...will not be duped into paying more this time around. Come on, meh...prices are supposed to go down, not up. Who do you think you're dealing with the here?!

@stecker "Handy". See what I did there
Are these flushable?
@willb92 Depends on the toilet.
@willb92 DEFINITELY NOT

@captrespect If you shortened your URL and cut it off right after the jpg, it would have shown your image.
@cengland0 your mean like this: ?
@captrespect Yes, but I already inserted the image for you. Now there are two of them in the forum.
@cengland0 it's a grime wave
Got a lot of these last time, they do work great, they are very smelly (in a good-ish way).
These were awesome the last time I bought them. They are perfect for everyday use.
I use them to wipe my hands and also surfaces.
BUT this is a huge price increase! Can't justify it at this price.
Can't wait to wipe my butt with these!
@duckworth
I bought $30.00 of these the last time . I still have not opened a pack. I guess I should. I can't even tell you if they are worth buying. I know I paid less money for them.

There...that should do it.

Why isn't anyone from the the Dakota's getting in on this? Are they really that clean of people, or do they prefer their own filth?
@addor it's Saturday- no one uses electricity on Saturdays there.
@alectheviking Wait... do they not roll on shabbos?
They are great for cleaning hands and tools when working on the cars. I wish I'd bought more to give to my buddies. But at 60% more than last time I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger.
@mconrad resist!!!
I've been wiping my ass with these since you sold them last time : |
loathsome-stinky-tub
Missed these last time - so the price increase doesn't bother me much.
As I stated elsewhere, these things do the impossible; they easily remove pine sap.
@Teripie I can attest to this, yes they do. Off of little ones feet anyway...
A wipe in time kills grime. (felt compelled to comment)
Seems like a lot of packaging and trash waste just to wash my hands. Water and a towel is more sustainable.
@zorro What if you're somewhere without water? Like California or Texas?
@narfcake Sounds like Meh needs to start selling those huge-ass bottles of water.

Okay, who's the other person in Bay County Florida?
Got them last time and am quite pleased. Have put a pack in each car, one in the kitchen and one in garage. Have also turned on some friends to them. So basically I am mad I can't blame @narfcake for repeating this product --but I can blame him for raising the price!!
@readnj @eyewerks Thank you for understanding that this goat will sometimes side with @snapster so meh can actually make some profit.
@narfcake That's how they hook ya. They give you the first goat for free...
ok... I'm on to you... After opening the batteries up that came in the mail today I looked down and a black spot was all over my hands... I would have so bought these if they were the cheaper than last time! Or even the same price! Whats the deal meh? Price increase?
I missed this deal so I went hunting on eBay and found a pack of thirty for $2.99. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Grime-Boss-A541S30X-Grime-Boss-Hand-Wipes-/310716764617?hash=item48582991c9&vxp=mtr) That was easy. Bought four of those. I hope I like these things as much as you folks do. I work with polymer clay, which entails lots of sticky and messy things, and could use some useful wipes to clean my messes up!
4 emails confirming shipment - I hope this means I'm getting 4X my order!
nineteen point two pounds
and seventeen inch square box
for one pack seems odd
@Alien Mine too- must be a placeholder.
@sammydog01 Thanks, I forgot about that placeholder business. Was worried I might be getting something like an accidental shipment of leftover clothing-by-the-pound... ew.
