But you’re right, most people’s “slow jog” is slower than walking. I guess I meant a slow run or a medium jog.
I bought what is basically the exact same product under a different brand about a year ago right here from this very website. The Hovertrax knockoff works as expected but there was quite a bit of rattling going on inside.
Turns out that only the outermost screws were really holding the shell together because all the inner screws had been severely overtightened into the metal frame, causing the part of the plastic case that holds the screw to shatter. You can see a photo of all the screws and busted plastic on the thread here.
This seemed to be a pretty common problem, as there were quite a few of us with that issue. For me it was no big deal to open it up, remove all the broken pieces of plastic, and just reassemble it without those screws. There’s a bit of a gap between the top and bottom pieces of the case now but I don’t care because I only use it indoors.
Anyway, just FYI. I’m still pleased with the purchase for $99.
