I'm contemplating getting a LCD BacPac for my H3+ to make it easier to use for non-drone pic taking (like my ZMR build). My old HTC phone just isn't cutting it for quality pics.
Do any of you have one on your GoPro? Any advice on this?
@DJMajickMan Cool feature! I messed around with it on my tablet a bit. Awesome capability. Unfortunately the GoPro app won't run on my phone. Play Store tells me "This app is not compatible with your device". The idea of lugging my tablet around is not all that appealing.
I have the BacPac for my GP Hero, but I hardly use it. It's great for configuring your gopro because you don't have to deal with cyptic codes like r1,r2,r3, etc. It's great also for framing your pictures. Other than that, I haven't used it much. I got it for a clearance - $50 and it came with a battery and new backdoor for my waterproof case.
@garyhgaryh Ya, easy use for snapshots, plus configuration changes is what I had in mind. That's something I really like about my cheap Vivitar is the touch screen LCD.
I have not. I have used my iPhone for viewing though and configuring it via wifi.
