- @hollboll I'm surprised constantly by new TVs that are only 60hz. Maybe other technology has improved making the refresh rate less important? I don't know... edit: mine is 240hz if you were curious.

  Perhaps 240 CMR (Samsung) or some other marketing term for other brands. I'll bet it is a 120Hz panel with electronic trickery tacked on. Like frame interpolation or backlight blinking.

The going rate for this TV over the next several days is $227. Samsung is very effective (like BOSE and others) with enforcing unified pricing.

It's a decent TV for a reasonable price as long as you don't want to game on it or watch fast action sports.

- BTW, I have little respect for Woot employee faughtey over there. In fact faughtey is one of the reasons I virtually never go to deals.woot anymore.

I suppose one could make this $250 price for a $227 TV work. But do yourself a favor and first find something you need that is also well-priced for that $125 store credit. Dell does these store credit teasers all the time.

In the past I have not been able to make the deals pencil out due to not finding anything I needed at the right price.
