@Kyeh normally they do, but yesterday they did not. The woman running the session admitted that they paired up the wrong adults - they kept head butting each other and startling the little ones so they were not calm enough to climb on us. We snuggled with them anyway. My daughter and I discussed smuggling one out with us, they were so cute.
@cbilyak Hah! We had a neighbor years ago, a very nice eccentric artist lady, who had some goats in her yard here in town & she’d drive around with them in her car sometimes.
@cbilyak@Kyeh just FYI note the well done fence in the background lol. They are notorious escape artists. If one were to have sufficient space and want a goat.
I think it could be a perspective thing but also I doubt they leave them in the yoga pen outside of sessions… For. Ya know. Biological function reasons.
Also was kinda thinking the pony vs goat for a little girl. The goat escapes are pretty funny.
@cbilyak@Kyeh@unksol We had a couple of pygmy goats when the children were in 4H. Their pen was a repurposed dog run with 6ft high chain link fence. So, no, they couldn’t jump out.
They were cute/funny little guys, but once the (human) kids were done with 4H, we passed them on to some other younger 4H-ers.
(Pro-tip: as for practical matters, a couple of pygmy goats can barely make a dent in a patch of wild blackberry vines. )

Actually knew that. We had goats when the kids (our kids - not the goats’) were little. Same with sheep. It’s one of the reasons I was super annoyed when we watched “the sheep detectives” in the theater the other day with the grandkids. All of them had round pupils!
It may have been an hour of goat “yoga” but I only yoga’d for a few minutes and just goated the rest of the time
@cbilyak I’m sure that’s what I would do too.
It seems like the yoga is just an excuse to hang out with goats! Were there any babies?
@Kyeh YES!!! 2 adults and 3 babies. The babies were just over 1 week old

@Kyeh
@cbilyak Awww! Cuties! Did they climb on people too?
@cbilyak @Kyeh shennanigans!

@cbilyak @unksol It doesn’t seem high enough, really - can’t they jump that high?
@cbilyak @Kyeh I do not know anything.

Goat Yoga? And I thought goating was a contact sport. Learn something new every day.
@mehcuda67 me too. I learned goats have rectangular pupils!
