CRKT Folding Knives

“Brand loyalty” is a thing in commerce, and I think this purchase may qualify as an example of it. There was a time, long ago, when I would visit this site regularly without having an account. Back then, I thought the site just sold pocketknives with some other stuff offered to mix it up. I thought to myself, “If I ever need a pocketknife, I know where to get one.” But then, maybe as the result of a quirk in the Universe, when I needed a pocketknife, Meh seemed to stop selling them. This did not change my desire and need for a pocketknife, so when these folding, but not pocket, knives showed up for sale, I bought them, even though they weren’t what I wanted. I bought them because they were offered on meh.com, and I doubt I’d have bought them anywhere else even if the price were better.
The knives are good quality and functional, but they’re a little too big to keep in the pocket, so I’ll use the nylon sheath if I take one to work with me. Also, since I got two of them, I was able to use one maybe a little more roughly and give it a good workout to test it’s limits without having to worry about breaking it and winding up pocketknifeless.
I did wind up breaking off about a half inch of the knife tip while using it, improperly, as a prying tool. I then gave it to a co-worker.
I haven’t used the second knife yet, but if I can figure out a good way to add a clip to the back of it, I will begin using it. Until then, I will continue to wait for an actual pocketknife.
