@sammydog01 Absolutely, there are times when such lighter moments and humor lights up our lives. I was slowly slipping into despair being a care giver for my dad for the past three years. Though I love helping my dad , I was slowly losing my patience and wanted a break, a day off to give myself some time to rejuvenate myself. He is undergoing memory exercise program [with an assisted living facilities nevada][1]. My heart goes out for all those out there, going through a lean patch in their lives, like mine. Let God give me strength during trying times. Having said that, I’m privileged to take care of my loving dad for all that he has given me. I treasure all the good memories, to keep myself focused and calm.

@willdonati It’s essential to make time for yourself when you are a caregiver. I’m glad to hear you’ve gotten a respite while your dad is getting some help from other resources.
It’s an incredible time for you. You are exhausted and spent and sad and demoralized - and this is also one of your most precious experiences. Time with each other person clearly not infinite into the future now. And no matter how completely used up you are, every moment has a special weight. And there are moments of celebration.
How did you know? Was it my 2017 Sucks Too thread? I clothe myself in despair. Awwww guys, I appreciate the depressing present. It makes feel all cold and dark inside. Thank you.
I love those little guys! They can even make despair sound cheerful.

Hang in there.
Despair! Yea!
Feeling guilty for not crediting this.
You did it, Meh. You actually got me to post something on Facebook; aren’t you proud of yourselves?
Lovely timing.
Done and done. (Typing this while lying on my back in bed.)
That was cute
An instant classic! Right up there with “We’ll punch you in the belly for Christmas”.

@mfladd that movie was creepy.
A stitch in time…
Why does everyone and everything that makes videos around here sound like @Matthew?
@conandlibrarian maybe they all try to copy his voice.
@RiotDemon Imposter!

(Jim Carrey on In Living Color; though I think this was post-Wayans already. So much political incorrectness then.)
@narfcake I missed that you posted this. I still love politically incorrect humor. There’s only a certain company that I can share it with.
