@narfcake if I remember correctly wasn’t the Range Rover driver being assaulted by the bikers and ultimately not charged for the one injury he caused while fleeing for his life?
@narfcake the whole incident was the result of the bikers’ thuggish and self-centered actions, starting with trying to block off the highway for purposes of dangerous and probably illegal trick riding (certainly shutting off the highway is illegal), continuing with forming an aggressive mob when one of their riders (who was charged with reckless driving) stopped short causing a collision, and culminating in their chasing down and assaulting Lien. I’ll grant that his wife throwing a plum pit and a water bottle (for which I hope she was charged with littering, assault if we’re being technical I suppose) at the bikers was inappropriate but it can hardly be removed from the context of the situation the bikers created.

@jbartus yup. Bikers being jerks and endangering the driver. He did what he had to to protect his family.
@medz I think there was an undercover cop found out to be part of the gang too. Lost his job and served time in jail IIRC.
