@HoneyIMHome I don’t think it’s possible to snipe since it requires a captcha to buy it, though I could be wrong. You have to be very quick but I don’t think there’s any particular trick to it, just be there right as it happens and hope you can get through in time.

One thing to consider is the sheer number of folks trying. Tens of thousands or more. Statistically it is harder to win any given Fuko then it is to get into Harvard.

In all the years, I’ve had about 10 break-ins with detailed information given to the cops and have never, ever, in my life been given any property back or had anybody arrested.
One day, we had a snatch and grab while we were open. One of my employees ran out the door, got the guy’s license plate number and then followed them to their house in her car. I wasn’t there at that time or I would have told her not to do that as it could be dangerous. She was my assistant manager and felt bad it happened during her watch so felt responsible. Anyway, cops were called again with the video, license plate, and address of the thief. Absolutely nothing happened – no arrests, no detectives asking me for more information later, no court dates for me to attend, nothing.

Eventually, they did prosecute and I know the guy’s name from court documents that were mailed to me. I had to send it in with a detailed list of the items lost. I think he took 4 boxes in all, but most were from woot for a promotion they had running at the time (mystery krampus eggs), so the invoices didn’t give an accurate description of the items. Also, everything I bought was really cheap… I think I got a check for $15… I don’t recall.
