Actually, lately there have been a lot of talk for old tv shows making comebacks or having reunions and such. What have you watched or what are you waiting to see?
@narfcake I’m like 50/50 it always seems they try to reboot things that were good and it doesn’t hardly seem to come out well. I wish they’d try rebooting stuff that wasn’t good and make it good. The bar is set pretty low so it should be easy.
Then again I’m not a script writer or a big time executive at a tv company maybe there is something there I’m not seeing.
The thing I most want to see would be a return to Firefly. However, I’m fully aware most of the cast wouldn’t come back full time so rather than reboot it it’d be nice if they set it sometime in the future after the events in Serenity and the comics. Then original cast makes cameos and such.
@lonnyzone hbo max probably has more free subscribers than disney+. If you have at&t for anything you probably have a free account. Or any cable provider, they support that whole login through your tv provider system. It’s worth a shot to try logging in and see if it lets you.
@djslack@lonnyzone@Targaryen like most streaming services… Turn it on, find what’s goid. watch for a month, turn off. Rotate. For this no. But you know if you’re bored. Other stuff.
There’s nothing horribly wrong with HBOmax. Or Disney+. Cbs is the only one that’s just broke last time I tried… Some stuff played fine. Some stuff refused to play.

One last A-Team mission would be great.
/image I love it when a plan comes together
Reunion shows, I feel it’s just that they’ve got the pause button in the interim. That can be okay.
Reboots …
(There’s some irony in that, of course.)

@narfcake The part of reboots/sequels/reunion shows/etc is that most seem to be on pay systems that I do not subscribe to.
Was excited that CBS started showing season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery but now we’re invested…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Northern Exposure!
So they want me to sign up and pay for HBO to watch a reunion of a show that was free and had nothing to do with HBO?

@djslack @lonnyzone Yeah mine is “free” through AT&T… until I give them the boot later this year.
