Interesting. Very similar to my Cheerson CX-20 except the CX-20 uses an open source flight controller. Add a $40 gimbal and another $40 for a cheap GoPro clone and it looks like a pretty good starter rig.
Or, for about $700, you could pretend to fly a drone.

@Stumpy91 And the folks at twit.tv have done quite a number of podcasts on drones over time. Mostly I think on “Know How” with Father Ballacer; you can search their site for the specific shows.
@Stumpy91 RCGroups is an excellent resource. With the caveat due any other public forum: it has many knowledgeable participants, and it’s share of crackpots trolls and assholes.
