By providing me with all those delicious neoprene sleeves you've given me enough weapons grade desiccant to complete my Absorbing Global Hyper Dominator ray! Even now it hums to life. Listen.
@Mehntok I just got it out of a Cat's Cradle or Ice 9 Google image search. These guys are hosting it, so I'm assuming they maybe did a stage adaptation at some point. http://theatrebristol.net/ If you right click, you can go open the image in its own window. I tried a site search and it returned nothing, so I guess it's just the relic of something long past. This is probably of no interest to you, but I say it by way of explaining my awkwardness: I'm typing and searching and such using my newly delivered ICRAIG, which is actually pretty cool, but also different and wonky and shit. For instance, Ctrl-V doesn't paste and a right mouse click goes backwards. Yeah, I've restarted this comment a few times.
@joelmw haha. i have no idea what an ICRAIG is, but I'm generally a fan of all things different and wonky.... on another sidenote, any vonnegut movie adaptation i've ever tried watching has been shit. I'd be skeptical of theater productions too. His writing is really simple, but his sci-fi concepts tend to actually be pretty out there and all over the place, which i think only works in book form... Writing that makes me think of hitchhikers guide, which has also made for shitty movies.
With those I could open the Gate Of Kerash!
I would have bought them just for the desiccant. Had I only known. (Why was this not listed among the features?)
@walarney I'm sure they're paying attention and that deficiency will be addressed in a later writeup. . . .
@walarney I for one blame @joelmw for the deficiency in the write-up.
@lumpthar Who knew I'd ever be blamed for an absence of verbiage.
@joelmw you're blamed for the absence of desireable products, why not the absence of words?
@RedOak Oh, it's totally fair, just kinda incredible.
Could they be used to dry up the world's fresh water supply?
@medz
@joelmw that was made into a movie???
@Mehntok I'm curious too. I'd love to watch it.
@joelmw this, umm, not so reliable source seems to say that Leonardo Dicaprio was adapting it to a movie at some point: http://movies.about.com/od/dicaprioleonardo/a/catscradl070705.htm
@joelmw hmm, but the last time anybody really touched the imdb page was in 2006. where'd the picture come from? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0469046/

@Mehntok Leave off ther trailing underscore of the following: http://theatrebristol.net/assets/0000/2535/Cat_s-Cradle_crop_sml.jpg_

You think too small my friend. My goal is nothing less than the absorption of all water in the known universe! All of it. Listen to that hum.
@poppaearl - Even the water found on the moon?
@poppaearl
"weapons grade dessicant" 👏👏👏 💯
Plus, you can tape one under each arm and stay dry for years!
Yes. Arms.
