I don’t really like any beverage that sparkles. I have drank a few sparkly wines that are okay and one that was actually really good but I don’t do Seltzer harder not I don’t do soda I don’t do the carbonated teas or any of that s**
I drink 3-4 cans of flavored sparkling water a day (is that what seltzer is?) and I am waiting for the news reports that they cause some horrible disease we didn’t know about and I should’ve just stuck with sugary soda.
I’m on the wagon so I started drinking Clausthaler dry hopped IPA non-alcoholic years ago. It’s very good if you like a malty IPA. Also fairly light at about 90 calories.
However, the other day a buddy turned me on to No-Mo non-alcoholic IPA from Crux brewery. It tastes amazing. It has kind of a citrus taste. It’s a less heavy taste than Clausthaler - very refreshing and delicious. Also only 30 calories.
I also like the Bubly Grapefruit - it actually tastes like a sour grapefruit.
/showme a TV news report where they announce that sparkling water is actually bad for you and the reporters are laughing at the people who drink it, while smugly sipping on giant bottles of Dr Pepper
@catthegreat I’m not trying to shill for anyone, but keep in mind that some brands of carbonators are only for water. I specifically got one advertised to carbonate any beverage.
Not to pick on Canada Dry… all the main big brands do this… they claim to use real ginger but, it’s so little, it might as well be holistic. One 0.5ml drop of ginger is used to make 70 cans of ginger ale. That’s how little ginger they actually used. Stuff like that and Schwepps, etc, is really just yellow sugar water not ginger ale.
Carbonated water (+ fruit/ flavor), champagne, mimosas, and carbonated water + orange juice (basically Orangina).
I like carbonated, but not sugary, or artificially sweetened. Kicked the Diet Coke habit a couple decades ago, and now I can’t even stomach that level of sweet.

@awk Same here. I have heard they might not be great for your teeth.
@awk Sugary soda is still carbonated water, but with the added disadvantage of a pile of sugar.

@tweezak Good on ya. Stay on the wagon. I’ve got some alcoholic friends and I know it’s a struggle.

I have one of those carbonators and drink about a liter of carbonated grape Gatorade zero a day.
I’d say Coke Zero, but I try to limit my caffeine intake and the Gatorade is kind of healthy(?)
@NapkinEater so wait, you carbonate the grape gatorade??
@catthegreat I most certainly do. It’s like a grape soda that’s got what plants crave.
@NapkinEater actually brilliant - i usually carbonate water and flavor it, but this opens up a new world lol

I don’t do the carbonated ANYTHING! It gives me Gas!
@mycya4me More for me.
@Jackinga Fine by Me… You can Have it all.
SANGRIA!! Duh!!

I like to freeze soda in a cup. As it melts it turns into a slushy. I think I’m addicted.
Pop! (I can’t bring myself to call it soda)
But the real answer anyway is beer.
I don’t care for anything carbonated.
I drink water.
If I’m drinking anything carbonated these days it’s a Coke. With bourbon.
Rockstar Zero. I know it’s not healthy. I don’t care.
e) none of the above. I don’t like carbonation.
coca cola ,hace daño y no me importa
@lapris01 Pero su Coca-Cola probablemente no tiene HFCS, lo que lo hace lo mejor.
Ginger Ale… but only real ginger ale with lots of real ginger, the stuff that is hot (taste not temp)… not stuff like Canada Dry.

@OnionSoup Even Blenheim isn’t what it used to be.
@OnionSoup Mix lemon-lime and Coke together and you get a good approximation. Happened to me as a kid.
@OnionSoup VERNORS! (which probably contains zero ginger) beats CanDry
@OnionSoup
Homeopathic ginger ale.
@OnionSoup
As bad as that is it’s ACTUALLY 10 times worse! That should be 0.05ml according to this article.
@chienfou lol… I remembered incorrectly… Wow that’s incredibly bad. So 1ml would be all that’s needed for 1400 cans then.
@OnionSoup
Actually 0.1ml… still off by 10 fold!
/showme ginger ale made with real ginger and isn’t fake stuff like Canada Dry
@OnionSoup The AI generated a nice-looking bottle, but what it should have been working for is this:
(yikes, that came out big)
Reed’s comes in 3 tiers of strength, all of which out-perform the common brands of ginger ale. And their flavor is awesome (in my opinion).
Beer, wine, water. Occasional pop.
Clearly Canadian!
No Agatha Christie fans here? The first thing I thought when I saw the question:

@brainmist
Yep… Champagne, Mimosa, Bellini, Kir Royale, French 75… All good stuff!
