@pooflady Definitely lunch, but because there are no expectations. You can do whatever the fuck you want for lunch, and I’m probably doing some baller grilled cheese.
@Euniceandrich@Kyeh waffles and any meat is a thing. I didn’t realize the whole fried chicken and waffles thing until I spent some time in the South. and now it’s 9:30 at night here (West) and I’d go for some chicken and waffles right now!
@Euniceandrich@Kyeh@pmarin The popularity is absolutely bizarre. It’s like if someone decided the Grand Slamwich was a gourmet item and places besides Denny’s started making it.
I do prefer dessert. But the one I make the most is dinner. Plus I usually have more time to make dinner. Although I really hate washing dishes. So usually simply dinners make less mess, if I do a bigger dinner I have a lot more dishes to deal with. So I try to mix it up. Like make meatloaf from scratch, but buy premade refrigerated mashed potatoes.
Lunch, because it’s usually a sandwich. I’ve been cooking for 70 years and I’m tired of it.
@pooflady yep, but a PB & jam sandwich is hard to beat…
@mycya4me @pooflady no it’s not

Elevenses. And Tea.
@werehatrack Would that be around the time of Second Breakfast?
Lots of variety available, and I like to grill my bacon in the waffle iron before adding the batter… Waffle with built in bacon is a hit at my house.
@Euniceandrich So breakfast?

@Euniceandrich @pmarin I still don’t get the chicken & waffles thing. I like both but don’t know why combining them is such a big deal.

@Euniceandrich @pmarin @Telanis
And charging big bucks for it, too!
Take out.
Dinner because I can usually take more time cooking and invite friends over
@ironcheftoni What time should we be there?
Why isn’t supper listed?
Or slunch?
@haydesigner Is that why I smell slupdog?
@phendrick Most people don’t know the difference between supper and dinner.
@phendrick @Tadlem43 I think that most people know the difference but have no reason to make the distinction.
Beef…
Dessert!

Brisket
I thought of my favorite meal to eat, and worked backwards.
@awk weird comment without saying the conclusion you reached, lmao
