They do seem pretty useful during warmer months when I don’t have a jacket with pockets, but having extra weight around my waist during hot weather doesn’t seem awesome.
I got a Zip Kit bag from Timbuk2. Man purse seems better to me than fanny pack.
I bought a cute quilted black one at Nordy Rack months ago, I think I’ll give it a test drive when I’m in Cabo for a few days next month. Yay for free hands for holding margaritas. Arrriba!

it’s been a few years – i wonder if men in japan still carry around those bags, sort of like fanny packs, but across the torso diagonally.
(i just carried a purse, myself.)
