@troy but only artificially. I mean, yes, more material costs minutely more, sure. But since those costs are relatively arbitrary and artificial anyway and not based on any fixed actual cost when you break it down to the very basic components, it seems a bit disingenuous to just say it costs more. Did the provider of the blanks or the printer actually charge Meh exactly two dollars more per unit for the largest blanks/printed shirts?
@PurplePawprints-You may mean seizures. OCD stands for Obcessive Compulsive Disorder & that would likely make you buy too many, not less, for no good reason!! I’m just saying,…but a person with OCD doesn’t have it with every object, or thing!!
Why do I keep buying Meh shirts? I even buy the ugly ones (such as the specimen offered today) that I may never actually wear. Meh is the opiate of t-shirts. I have to buy it or endure several days of withdrawal. I am weak. Just send me the shirt, PusherMan.
@haydesigner Irk wears a child sized shirt and they have a picture of him wearing the shirt.
Would your child settle for a picture of them wearing a shirt? Or is the youth actually pickier than a troll?
I assume there are photomanipulation apps that are easier to use than Photoshop ($$) or Gimp(free). Kids can learn surprising skills. It can be fun to teach a kid how to do something silly like put there face over Irk’s.
Dear Every Hater in this thread that is whining about paying extra for a bigger size,
I am a pretty big fella and I have gotten to the point in my life that I am just happy that they even have 3x as an option. A couple bucks extra is nothing compred to the left-out feeling I had last meh t-shirt run and just about every time I shop for clothes(and especially shoes). There are way too many times in my life that I didn’t even have an option to buy a certain style or color or limited edition sneaker. To even have the option to be a meh billboard is awesome! There were a few of us that w̶h̶i̶n̶e̶d̶, c̶o̶m̶p̶l̶a̶i̶n̶e̶d̶, calmly suggested that meh should offer a 3x option last time. Now, today as if it were a meh miracle…we have 3x(Thank you meh t-shirt god!).
In conclusion; Quit your bitching because we have to pay a nominal fee because they use more material to make our shirts. This is the way things work in almost every other aspect of life. You have to pay more for a large French fry than you do for a small. We don’t just get more for free because our stomachs are bigger.
Want but no money. Just moved. No income for the moment. Hope you bring it back again. And bring back again the flask shirt but not black on black (well you can make it a choice, just not the only choice). I want that in a nice color.
Anyone interested in modifying some shirts to include the spinning gifs?
The smartwatches featured a few days ago can probably display animated gifs and they are about the right size to fill in one of the gaps in the shirt. The shirt will need a hole cut in it, with a button hole stitch so it doesn’t unravel. Behind the hole there needs to be a pocket to hold a watch with the band removed with the display properly lined up.
Smartwatches with similar displays, but no camera or 2G cell phone cost less than $10 each. The battery life is horrible if the display is left on continuously, so there needs to be a battery pocket for a larger battery.
I know how to buy cheap watches and can figure out how to get them to continuously display a gif. I don’t have a sewing machine or the skills to make circular buttonhole stitches lined up with custom pockets.
I am at a science fiction convention today and I saw someone wearing one of those watches. If I can track him down, I will see if it can do gifs or videos without any effort. I will reply with a picture, so we can see what it looks like.
Once I have a picture, I will create a new topic to discuss logistics. If I recall correctly, it requires staff to change a topic thumbnail if the image isn’t in the topic when it is created.
@hamjudo I had no idea that Fitbit made watches that could be mistaken for an $8 smartwatch. I assumed that since the screen was off it was a battery cheap watch. It was much more expensive, with a different display.
