@hems79 I also recently discovered the Winery Dogs. I’ve always been a fan of Chris Cornell (RIP) and the lead singer, Ritchie Kotzen sounds almost exactly like him not to mention he’s a great with many instruments particularly guitar. Add Mike Portnoy on drums and Billy Sheehan on bass and you have some serious talent and one of the best 3 man bands going.
@enville I used to listen to a ton of Windham Hill releases. When I was in college I discovered Liquid Mind for studying. It is great ambient/zone out music. The place I found it was a streaming website called Blue Mars. That was clear back in the 2002 timeframe and they are still in operation: http://echoesofbluemars.org/
Um Meh…? What the fuck are you talking about?!?
Depends if I’m stuck inside or out on the chilly day.

Norwegian Black Metal. In the spring I go back to pop music like Slipknot.
@tweezak
I’ve been on a thrash kick the past few months.
D.R.I.
S.O.D.
Slayer
S.T. - 80’s skate punk, so… close enough

Favorite song of the moment:
Since Spotify started eating its own discovery playlist, I’ve lost track of what I like. I should try to listen to music again.
From Halloween until Easter, it’s Windham Hill “Winter Solstice” (Vols. I - IV mainly, but a few others thrown in for variety and some George Winston)

Dear Liz by Speechwriters LLC is a great one, especially for those of us who occasionally struggle with depression.
For a more uplifting vibe, pretty much anything by Pale Waves.
Pretty much the same thing I listen to during the rest of the year.
I have never had a “song of the summer.”
Depends on my mood and activity.
If I’m out for a run, for example, it’s gonna be something faster paced.
For a few years in the mid to late 70’s, “Slip Sliding Away” by Paul Simon was my local news station’s go-to number for icy street montages.
