Enjoy your night with our meaningful message
22In my hotel room in Saigon last night, this message was hand-delivered by hotel staff. It was folded up in the shape of a fish.
A few thoughts:
- The subtext here, of course, is that mum is angry MOST days.
- Where did we learn that anger is temporary madness?
- Kudos to the Cinnamon Hotel for having the chutzpah to label their own message “meaningful”

…but please make sure the meaningful message uses protection.

@dave
She doesn’t seem to be displaying signs of her madness slowing down. Not sure how temporary it is in her case.

So they hand delivered this message to you? Just how angry had you been getting to prompt such a message?
@chienfou I love that this is mis-spelled.
(just makes it even more fitting!)
@chienfou me too! It’s like the asians name is moral!
@jamminonthejuan I was thinking more in lines of beating the writer of the note until the moral gets better…
Now I wonder if the messages are like fortune cookies everyone got a different random message.
I love that it’s basically physical world Facebook. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=“mum,+you+are+very+beautiful+today”&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
On the back it reads “Please much thanks for not to feeding the roaches.”
“You should smile more, Mom; you’d be prettier”
Anger is a gift.
I swear they stole my kids’ story!!!
I also really appreciate the seemingly random sprinkling of quotation marks…
In case anyone hasn’t seen this one.
@walarney What… it’s OK to do one or the other, but not both??
