@jmbunkin correct for your car, incorrect for your phone or other USB powered device.
11.1Ah (at 4v) is nothing compared to the capacity of your car battery, so it wouldn’t effectively be able to charge it. But your alternator can do that once the car is running. This can deliver a high current for a short period of time, or a little current for a long period of time.
Not bad. Hopefully it is charged when you need a jump, though. I just keep cables in my car because you can help someone else or help yourself (hopefully if people are around).
@ThoR294 Cables! My very first Meh purchase back in November 2014! A kit for each of our three cars. Luckily haven’t had to open any of them. As I recall, they were excess inventory from Infiniti.
@RedOak I have that kit as well the jumper cables are useless unless if the car battery just barely is dead. I have tried to use it three times to no avail, the wire is just not thick enough to actually send enough amps to turn over the engine. The other stuff do work but the flashlight is weak compared to led flashlights now. And yep it was from Infiniti as the worksheet said
@ChickenPotPi if a battery is “completely dead” then it cannot be jumped. If it is heavily discharged, you need to fast idle the donor car engine for several minutes to give the jumped battery a bit more juice… assuming it is not “completely dead”.
@RedOak Yep. I have that kit. Throw away the jumper cables. Totally useless. Really. I’ve never run into such a thing… useless. Cost me a tow truck call when all I had was a dead battery. I knew I had cables so I got my GF to bring her car… nothing… zilch. Tow guy jumped it. Then I tested the cables. No current (actually very, very little).
@TimWalter I didn’t get the kit because the gauge of the wires looked terrible. I always get the fattest ones because those will provide enough power. Also, if one set isn’t enough, try 2 cars jumping one car. Had to do that for a lady at 6 flags. AAA truck jump wasn’t enough lol
@RedOak I meant like dead but recoverable. I tried them on batteries that I recharged back to life using a float charger for a few hours but it could not jump start the battery.
Since I bought one the last round, I’ve used it to jump start a Legacy, a Focus, a motorcycle and a Suburban. Recharging in between, if course. It’s an impressive tool.
@mehshark No flipping of a switch needed. Connect the cables to the battery and the light turns green, then start the car. I’ve used the one I got last time to jump a friend’s Impala and it worked like a charm.
Just a little tech tip for the writers at Meh: it’s very bad practice to jump a car from a Prius. You’d likely burn out the inverter, which is pretty expensive (more than a new engine I think).
@CatsAreGods But you can safely trickle-charge another battery from Prius’s 12-volt battery-- see directions online. It’s slower than a jump but it works-- I’ve done it more than once.

@droopus if the battery is too discharged (under 10v) a modern manual car won’t bump start as the computer needs more voltage to run the ignition and fuel injection etc.
@droopus Many years ago I had a manual toyota pickup with a battery that went out. Needed my next paycheck before I could buy a new one. Parked it on a hill each time had to stop it. Worked like a charm (fortunately I lived in a hilly area).
@djslack I’ve driven a stick since I was 16, and I can make a sandwich and drive, but my kid is 17. I’m betting by the time he is good enough to text and drive, he’ll have gained the wisdom that’s it’s really a bad idea. Hope so anyway…B)
His car (BMW 128i) is actually hard to bump start anyway, because it has a start button, not a key. It can be done, but you have to hit the button as you drop the clutch.
@tightwad True that, but if your alternator isn’t trashed, it will generate a little bit of juice as the engine turns. Hey at least you have a shot…with an auto you have none.
@Kidsandliz And it’s actually kind of fun, right? I like being on the highway doing 80 and shutting the engine off, then bump starting in 6th gear. It makes my passengers squeal in a terrified, yet amusing fashion.
@Yoda_Daenerys I’m hoping the combination of manual transmission, education like your video above and common sense will keep him from reaching for the phone.
@Kidsandliz It’s actually easy and much smoother than a full stop bump start. I first tried it on my very first car, and was thrilled when it worked I was 16 and immortal of course, so WTH, right?
@droopus I did a rolling restart 3 times yesterday because my headlights came on but my dashlights didn’t…I was doing 75 on the Interstate so I just flipped the key off and back ok…dashlights came on after a couple attempts. it’s not scary unless you turn the key too far and lock the steering…
@awk When that one dies it’s worth the upgrade to go lithium, both for portability and for lack of self discharge. A pack like this will retain a usable charge for months so it’s less likely to be dead when you need it.
DEAL PAUSED. WHAT THE FUCK!!!
122 in 15 minutes=8.1333333~ per minute?
That’s a run?
Unless you have like only 158 of them sure. Okay.
Great business plan you sold. Don’t forget to shred the evidence.
Honestly, You really need to get some lame monkeys (no offense to monkeys) to run that operation.
@nfi 122 at night means they will probably cut loose about 270-300 in the morning and then have 18 held back for vmp tomorrow afternoon. The morning crowd seems to always have the majority of available inventory.
@Yoda_Daenerys@nfi might. I was just explaining why his figures might be off and how he could expect to come strolling in here an hour or maybe two after morning launch and pick himself up one all leisurely-like.
I’ve been around enough to know that if you want to get the good deals at night 11:15 might not cut it.
@Yoda_Daenerys@djslack wow, 263 orders is a pile. That seems like reseller volume! But averaging less than one comment per month. Easy to ride under the public radar.
I bought one like this and have been trying to use it on other people’s cars. So far (before I replaced the old car battery), I jumped my own car three times and others’ twice. It is very satisfying but you have to wait for the indicator to change to the right color.
I got one of these the last time around. I didn’t realize at the time that my 2-year-old car battery was actually dying. I live in Savannah, and flew out of town for a family thing, and got stuck for a few extra days because of Hurricane Irma. Got back and my car was dead. This sucker jump started my car (an Infiniti) without any problem. For the next 5 days I was jumping my car multiple times a day before I was able to get a new battery. The thing is good for at least 3 jumps without needing a recharge.
@jmhsrv List price on this in 2006 would probably have been $999 or more, since lithium ion powered jump starters were still 7 years away from market. It would have been mindblowing technology at the time, but now it’s just whatever, some lame battery pack.
@djslack What I meant to say was - “What is this, April Fools 2011?” and before you try to impress me with your ability to figure out relative cost to 2011… Perhaps Ill give you a little context -
@jmhsrv Okay. I think I’m missing an important reference, even with the context given. I know that what I can’t impress you with is my ability to follow along with this train of thought. 2006, 2008, 2011, some other batteries, April Fools, I don’t know? It sounds like a time traveling powerbank mystery to me. Sorry to disappoint.
Darn you meh. I wanted one last week and I remembered you had this a little while back, but morningsave didn’t have it. I even sent mehconsolidated an email asking if you still had any. No. So I got a “beatit” model from the Big A place, as noted by a commenter in the earlier thread. It’s similar spec to this, and it is OK, but I paid $15 more than this. If you had replied in email that this was coming up, I would have waited for this one.
This is a great deal but I already have the Fatt Max 700 very impressive, at Walmart for 40 bucks on sale, of course, i never buy full retail had it 2 years now still kicking doody hole, It also has a compressor that works great. I may still buy this as a gift ,It is extremely portable at a minimum at a great Meh deep discount, you guys are awesome keep up the good deals !!!
Not expected from meh at this price. May be typo? Should be $15…I can see why it is easy to get confused between ![enter image description here $15 and $45, if meh writer did not use breathlyzer.
Having just lived through a 5 day power outage courtesy of hurricane Irma, I grabbed this deal. There should be a lot of phone charges in this baby. I really wanted some candy corn to be included.
@doxeelady 3-5 charges. I bought a 10,000 mah battery here for around $10 I think. I’d keep an eye out for a deal like that so you can keep this in your car.
Great shit, too bad I checked out meh.com at 7:45AM CST & they were sold out, but the joke is on the employees there. Basic common sense about Supply & Demand would tell you to have more of this item on hand!! At an inside Musical Event they can only sell so many Tickets because of Fire Hazard Codes, so you could see why tickets would sell out in 30 minutes. You guys aren’t limited in this way. If you really think it 's Funny to Not sell a product to someone, you’re Sicker than you think!!¡ That is justTerrible Fucking Business Sense!! I’m just saying,…
@decoratedwarvet You say “You guys aren’t limited in this way.” But if they did indeed sell out, then they sold all they had - i.e. yes, they were limited in this way.
@sligettYou also misunderstood me, but I might’ve been vague. My bad! Please, read my reply to Dave, I’m not the Bitchy Whiney type I WANT meh to make A Lot More Money. I’m trying to help, not Gripe, HELP!!
These can be very handy. I always carry jumper cables but they are not always helpful. The battery in my two month old new car didn’t start my car last fall. If my wife had been home I would have jumped from her car, but she was out. I had to call the car’s road service.
I some spots where I park now, it would be difficult to jump as there is no way to come alongside the car.
I bought a similar device to have with me, but of course I have not had to use it. It holds a charge for months-which reminds me that it is time to check it!
I found one on eBay for $79.99,free shpng. & get it in 3days, so that’s $29.99 more, but NO Bullshit, + less wait time & that’s the best trade of I can get. I wish I could’ve given meh my money, but whatever. I would’ve even given them $60+$5 s&h=$65 & still considered it a Steal!! Using your money to buy bulk products works better when Greed doesn’t prevent the process. I’m just saying; dont kill the messenger!!
@dave No, Dave. What I was trying to explain is that meh is not restricted the way a Brick & Mortar Place where they can only let x # of people go because of fire hazard issues. Like a Rock show, they can easily run out of Tickets. Meh does not have that type of restiction. They can buy as many as their Supply & Demand business sense tells them to. At least enough not to run out when there’s so many potential sales that could be easily made if they had enough of the item. But yes, if money is the problem, most of us wouldn’t mind paying another $5. Money is not my problem, but I like your, or anyone’s deals. Buying Good deals, and stuff on sale keeps little danny from running out of money. You could’ve bought x amount of Energizer Jump Starters and sold them all day, not for 15 minutes. That would have brought in y amount of money. If you could figure how many to have on hand, that is what I was trying to say. Believe me, I want you guys to make more money, A LOT MORE MONEY. Sincerely, A Friend, aka, Only the Messenger
ok so all you who are upset, just so you know you’ll see similar things at sams and costco and their ilk in the 39.99 range when they do sales in the upcoming holiday cycle.
with the part number P2G7NS I guess the N means sams or wholesale club or what not.
it has jumped several cars since purchase, not the fastest, but it does work. I am not 100% on the bat size but I don’t think it was 10,000 like this one.
Only 10 for the VMPs? I do think you guys need to adjust that a bit. One of the perks of having (and retaining) VMP is the opportunity to buy something missed earlier. But having such a small amount lately isn’t exactly a bonus for your dedicated mehnions.
@cinoclav@mfladd@n8felton@dpenn1 I’m going to shift a bit more that way. I don’t think it’ll help a lot for these low quantity deals but it should help some.
@dave Appreciated. I think your worst case scenario is if something isn’t selling out under VMP, you could toss it back into the inventory for the general population. Maybe give it an hour?
@cinoclav Eh, I think that’s the problem - at that point no one’s going to be thinking about coming by to see if something is (back) for sale. But I think I’ve been a little overly worried about that and I can push a bit more to the VMP side of things without too much risk.
@n8felton Read my post above. You can see the totals when you click ‘More’ under how many were sold.
347 of these.
Midnight - 12:15am ET: 121 sold
Paused from 12:15am - 8am ET
8am - 8:10am ET: 216 sold
Paused from 8:10am - 4pm ET
4pm - 4pm ET: 10 sold to VMP members
Sold out at 4pm ET
Though I am VMP, I don’t ever have any luck with the 4pm holdovers (plus it’s much harder to fit a 4pm into the work day). I generally have great luck with the 8am free-for-all, however, so I recommend that instead of 4pm. Yeah, it requires getting up a little earlier but it avoids scrambling and disappointment.
This appears to be made by Aukey for Energizer. I bought one and shared the link and a friend bought one about a year ago (Ebay, I think) and it was $33 including shipping.
SO I’m surprised to see that Energizer has such a high opinion of their name. LOL
And I just found one available NOW for $25 and $5 shipping, no tax.
@EdwordYou found one available, NOW, for $25+$5, or $30 Total. Where was this? I know it wasn’t eBay because I got so irritated & inpatient that I bought one from eBay for $79.99+free shpng(3days) just to cut through the Dlvry time & ALL THE BULLSHIT!! Right now, I can cancel & get a refund because of the weekend So, Please, tell me where I can get this $30 deal. Please!!
@therealjrn you didn’t even make the effort to google Aukey…I hope you’re young and will have time to learn to be LESS human and more spiritual. If you’re old and are this way, you may NEVER evolve.
If you ARE young, then you need to learn some manners. I’m a 67 'Nam vet (USAF) and I demand a certain amount of instant respect. There’s a reason that you should listen to your elders. We’ve been through and survived a lot more shitski than your average whippersnapper. LOL
Embarrassment is a sign of spiritual growth. It means, at least temporarily, that the ego has lost control. The ego responds with anger when confronted with an exposed fault.
Some folks are unfortunate enough to know no shame. (e.g.,Trump)
@Edword What? Lol. I guess you told me. Next time when you are spouting off about deals why don’t you actually contribute more than shit posting about a product?
I certainly hope you learned your lesson old timer.
@therealjrn WHY? Out of concern that Meh.com may not appreciate it. It appears that you will not be evolving. You have that thing that can’t be fixed. Stupid.
@Edword Why? To sound like a knowledgable poster. To get some this respect you appear to crave.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Meh welcomes honest, frank product discussions.
@therealjrn Certainly you are correct that frank, honest discussions (and smart ass) comments over products is the norm here, but overt rudeness/nastiness to each other usually isn’t the norm here… although humor is, which is how @edword started out this little exchange in his answer to you when you wanted a link rather than googling for one yourself (which is typically the norm here as well - to google)…and then it degenerated from there…
@therealjrn I hope you know that jerks are the same same as ASSHOLES. I Personally am old, but unless you’re 6’7" & carry, just keep in mind why so many people with big mouths wind up in the shitter. And yes, I can afford to travel to talk to you in person if you want, just give me your address & we’ll go from there. OKAY!! LOL!! Can’t you take a joke??
adv. 1. With disapproval, suspicion, or distrust: “The area is so dirty that merchants report the tourists are looking askance” (Chris Black).
2. With a sideways glance; obliquely.
THAT was what started this, Kidsandliz. HIS remark. Instead of merely mentioning that the norm is to provide a link (instead of providing information that can be so easily googled), he sent an attempted insult (insults are like an ugly tie gift - we don’t have to accept it).
I don’t make smart-ass remarks like that and did not make an insult in my initial and for most all of my comments, but I admit losing patience after a while when it was evident that TheRealJim couldn’t let go of his ego.
TheRealJim’s intention wasn’t to be informative, but to denigrate my uninformed post.
I started on Woot.com 10-15 years ago (Meh’s previous site) and they had a separate section where you could provide links to other deals, but NOT in the main pages/comments - I ASSUMED that he was running THIS site the way that he ran WOOT.
BTW, ANOTHER Meh user asked for a link, which I quickly provided.
At least I know now to ignore TheRealJim and Kidsandliz comments. You’re both unaware and I can only wish for you that you evolve somewhere along your journey.
I follow a Buddhist path and know that if I follow my human inclinations and not be guided by my spiritual core, these sort of interchanges happen, when the ego gets involved and it becomes a “pride” issue, as with TheRealJim, and Kidsandliz (giving what she thinks is a necessary critique - though inaccurate).
I had let it pass until Kidsandliz made her assessment, but THIS will be my last comment on the matter.
There IS a huge difference between human and spiritual motivations. There is no EGO in the spiritual response (and I don’t mean religious). Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. I started out as a Lutheran pastor-student/seminarian and took a left at Albuquerque.
May I suggest “Buddhism; Plain and Simple” book?
It was helpful to start my journey away from ego, though I must apologize for “slipping” into some egotistical actions at allowing myself to be frustrated, a bit frazzled by the lack of intelligent, non-partisan discussion in the current political climate.
My intention was to be helpful and thus, I made the comment, not knowing the “rules” or standard conventions and got a surly response.
Now, let’s see how this long explanation is received.
@Edword I presume you are aware that your rant, which included name calling, also makes a statement about you too. Feel free to ignore my posts. I have no vested interest in who reads my posts or not. It’s not a popularity contest.
@Kidsandliz I guess I should apologize for my nick too. I should have had the foresight 20 years ago (when I first started using it) that someday it would trigger random weirdos on the internet.
@fastharry Charge rate of 1 amp an hour and this has 11 amp capacity … factor in energy conversion … if it doesn’t move up to the second LED by the 5th hour, then worry. Otherwise this should be fine.
@fastharry Mine came with 2 lights green and now around 8 or so hours later has all 4 lit. Hopefully I don’t have to test if it can actually jump my car any time soon.

Jump around! Jump around! Jump around jump up jump up and Get down. Jump jump jump jump…
@gwaki This needs more stars as presumably “jump” will be one of the censored words in tomorrow morning’s email and that will be a great thing to see.
@gwaki
@gwaki Not disappointed.
Great job, star givers!
Less expensive than an AAA membership.
@KDemo it can tow my car too? amazing!
I also pop for the motorcycle coverage with AAA. Saved my ass three times now.
more power to you!
@docflash I think this one flew under the radar for many, but you earned a star from me.
@Thumperchick "Humor is like a pigeon - it’s ok if not over your head."
Is it powered by candy corn?
@joedel263 I still have At Least 3 Big Jombo Bags. I ate the Melted Version & Although I have Diabetes II, as in WW II, I’m ‘Stayin Alive’!!
So this won’t charge a battery just jump start it ?
@jmbunkin That is my impression reading the reviews on amazon. Also it is only 400 amps
@jmbunkin correct for your car, incorrect for your phone or other USB powered device.

@katbyter about 3-1/2" x 2-1/4" x 8"… but perhaps you didn’t mean “brick”. You can get an idea in the following pic:

This comes up on Meh a mere few hours after I had gotten stuck in a parking lot for an hour thanks to not having one of these.
Now watch me never need it again now that I’ve bought it.
@Dizavid Would you be disappointed not to have to use it?
@RedOak Well, if nothing else I can charge my phone all the way from a low percent.
@Brasssong “Hump start? HUMP START? That’s the last time I let you use the AAA text hotline!”
Pussy whipped
@Brasssong that definitely NOT how you give CPR! Can somebody give this lady some candy corns?

@alisonacase That’s quite true.
@CatsAreGods My neighbor put an inverter in his mom’s Prius to run her house (i.e. 120vac) when her power was out.
Drive a stick, you’ll never need one. I got my kid into driving a stick and he got one in his first car, which he loves.
Can’t text and drive a stick. I’m surprised more parents haven’t figured that out.

@droopus if the battery is too discharged (under 10v) a modern manual car won’t bump start as the computer needs more voltage to run the ignition and fuel injection etc.
@droopus And I hear they get stolen less often, because many-a-thug doesn’t know how to drive a stick. Yay!

@hchavers No, you have to clamp one of them to ground. Maybe if you buy two…
@atannir To answer the follow-up question that will inevitably stem from this advice: no, genital piercings do not make good ground points.
@djslack Please do NOT answer the final follow-up question “How do you know that?”

@djslack do you want some cheese with that whine?
@nfi have you changed names? you have a lot of orders for a @nfi i don’t know
/giphy i don’t know
/image i don’t know
/youtube i don’t know
/8ball i don’t know
Signs point to yes
@Yoda_Daenerys @nfi might. I was just explaining why his figures might be off and how he could expect to come strolling in here an hour or maybe two after morning launch and pick himself up one all leisurely-like.
I’ve been around enough to know that if you want to get the good deals at night 11:15 might not cut it.
@Yoda_Daenerys @djslack wow, 263 orders is a pile. That seems like reseller volume! But averaging less than one comment per month. Easy to ride under the public radar.
@RedOak are you mixing your metaphors? i have 277-ish and comments far exceed 1/mth
am i confused?
/giphy am i confused?
/8ball am i confused?
My sources say no
/youtube am i confused?
@Yoda_Daenerys either you’re confused or I am confused. But @nfi apparently has less then 1 comment per month, having joined over 3 years go:
@djslack
especially if you live in EDT timezone
I bought one like this and have been trying to use it on other people’s cars. So far (before I replaced the old car battery), I jumped my own car three times and others’ twice. It is very satisfying but you have to wait for the indicator to change to the right color.
@atannir It is very satisfying
@sgrenald
@sgrenald So, no Walmart, or Auto Parts Store, Huh? Try a Liquor Store, that will get your Motor Running!!
What is this, April fools 2006
@jmhsrv List price on this in 2006 would probably have been $999 or more, since lithium ion powered jump starters were still 7 years away from market. It would have been mindblowing technology at the time, but now it’s just whatever, some lame battery pack.
@djslack What I meant to say was - “What is this, April Fools 2011?” and before you try to impress me with your ability to figure out relative cost to 2011… Perhaps Ill give you a little context -
https://www.woot.com/offers/black-and-decker-cp120b-20-watt-power-backup-battery-pack-2-pack-apr-01-2008
@djslack April fools 2011 was an epoch april fools on woot - it was a wootoff with the same item over and over - see link above -
Darn you meh.
@ojohn What you bought undoubtedly has better specs than this.
/Your welcome
This is a great deal but I already have the Fatt Max 700 very impressive, at Walmart for 40 bucks on sale, of course, i never buy full retail had it 2 years now still kicking doody hole, It also has a compressor that works great. I may still buy this as a gift ,It is extremely portable at a minimum at a great Meh deep discount, you guys are awesome keep up the good deals !!!
@mellowirishgent Yea, the Candy Corn fiasco aside, They GET A LOT Of Fantastic Stuff,… … now, send me that $20 you promised, meh!!
@decoratedwarvet HA,HA
Now is the perfect time to bundle with candy corn. $50 for the jumpstarter and two bags of grain-disguised confectionary!
My guess on the “12” in the model number is that it’s a reference to the standard voltage for car batteries and accessory power.
In for two for Christmas - to jump-start the tree, ya know.

@decoratedwarvet They are selling out. Where is the bad business strategy?
This is pretty much a weak deal. You were wise not to buy any.
@decoratedwarvet and that’s why Amazon bought WOOT. Look at that sight now. Dumping ground for Amazon shit.
I bought one last time and have already used it to start my son’s dead battery. Highly recommend it.
Got mine…Got to love smart phones…
These can be very handy. I always carry jumper cables but they are not always helpful. The battery in my two month old new car didn’t start my car last fall. If my wife had been home I would have jumped from her car, but she was out. I had to call the car’s road service.
I some spots where I park now, it would be difficult to jump as there is no way to come alongside the car.
I bought a similar device to have with me, but of course I have not had to use it. It holds a charge for months-which reminds me that it is time to check it!
BTW, yes, I do offer to jump start other people.
@decoratedwarvet I’m confused. Are you saying we were being greedy by not massively raising our price today?
@thismyusername thanks - all the drama here in FL had me freaking out about power/charging and such. I’ll look out at Costco.
@thismyusername got mine but I see a lot of Costco talk but not everyone has one.
@StrangerDanger @thismyusername Amazon will have them too.
for future shopping reference, the one I got for near 40 at sams a while back was this one:
https://www.amazon.com/STANLEY-P2G7S-Lithium-Portable-Vehicle/dp/B00ZF11A08
with the part number P2G7NS I guess the N means sams or wholesale club or what not.
it has jumped several cars since purchase, not the fastest, but it does work. I am not 100% on the bat size but I don’t think it was 10,000 like this one.
BULLSHIT! 1:00 straight up and SOLD OUT. FUCK YOU MEH
@lisameh I know that’s right. My thoughts exactly a little after 7ishCST!! I just bought one elsewhere.
I’m thinking by small amount they meant like they had two leftover. Sold out in less than 30 seconds. Meh indeed!
Agreed. Hit the buy one button at 4:00:01 and got a sold out message. That’s a bunch of bullshit! Fucking VMP is worthless.
@dpenn1 Well they are trying to encourage us to drop it. They keep promising a new program… vapor ware I think.
Only 10 for the VMPs? I do think you guys need to adjust that a bit. One of the perks of having (and retaining) VMP is the opportunity to buy something missed earlier. But having such a small amount lately isn’t exactly a bonus for your dedicated mehnions.
@cinoclav You are exactly correct. I wanted one also and was just a couple minutes late.
@cinoclav @mfladd @n8felton @dpenn1 I’m going to shift a bit more that way.
@dave You might be surprised. Now I’m curious about unique visitors to the site after 4 pm EST. Anyone care to run those numbers?
How many did they hold for VMP? I tried to buy one right at 4pm and they were already gone.
Snagged one at 8am, glad I did.
Wait, how can this starter possibly be worth a discounted $130? The couple I have (from other brands) were both bought at similar prices to this one.
@Edword So no link? Just talk?
@Edword Where did you buy one at that price. Please, let me know!!
Please!!
@decoratedwarvet I went to eBay and searched for aukey jump starter and this was the first item returned:
https://m.ebay.com/itm/Aukey-Portable-12000mAh-Auto-Car-Jump-Starter-Power-Bank-Vehicle-Booster-Charger-/322518315006

@therealjrn here you go, wiseacre:
https://www.ebay.com/i/322518315006?chn=ps&dispItem=1
@therealjrn Certainly you are correct that frank, honest discussions (and smart ass) comments over products is the norm here, but overt rudeness/nastiness to each other usually isn’t the norm here… although humor is, which is how @edword started out this little exchange in his answer to you when you wanted a link rather than googling for one yourself (which is typically the norm here as well - to google)…and then it degenerated from there…
@Kidsandliz So your jimmies are rustled now too? My bad.
I have seen many challenges to posters claiming some sort of deal. Much more common is the claimant providing a helpful link.
So thanks ever so much lecturing me as well. I feel so much more spititual now and less human.
@therealjrn
And here I thought those who were more spiritual were more human LOL
/giphy spiritual human
Well not what I was looking for but I’ll keep it because I like it. : )
TIL:
askance
adv.
1. With disapproval, suspicion, or distrust: “The area is so dirty that merchants report the tourists are looking askance” (Chris Black).
2. With a sideways glance; obliquely.
@Kidsandliz
TheRealJim wrote:
" So no link? Just talk?"
Namaste,
E
@Edword Hmm… I’m liking you, stick around please. And thank you for your service, particularly in such a senseless, torrid situation.

@djslack Oh, there is a NICE namasste!
@therealjrn did you watch the whole gif?

@RiotDemon Oh ny.
here…Aukey Jump starter…25 bucks…
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aukey-Portable-12000mAh-Auto-Car-Jump-Starter-Power-Bank-Vehicle-Booster-Charger-/322518315006?epid=25005116825&hash=item4b1796effe:g:1lMAAOSwKytZGmMb
well, got it today…but it doesn’t seem to be charging…has stayed on one level for 3 hours…
@fastharry Charge rate of 1 amp an hour and this has 11 amp capacity … factor in energy conversion … if it doesn’t move up to the second LED by the 5th hour, then worry. Otherwise this should be fine.
@narfcake good to know. Mine is sitting at the post office.
@narfcake Thanks Nerf…charge it all night and this morning it is all good…appreciate the help…
@fastharry Mine came with 2 lights green and now around 8 or so hours later has all 4 lit. Hopefully I don’t have to test if it can actually jump my car any time soon.
@Kidsandliz sounds about right…I’m sure they will be fine…Good Luck!
@fastharry thanks
Left it charging for several days and it still only had 2 bars… no bueno.
