I thought the carry-on situation was going to be mayhem and fisticuffs but it was actually perfectly reasonable. Even on the tiny Salt Lake-to-Billings plane where rolling carry-ons only fit over the seats on the left side of the plane.
@SSteve I understand not wanting to check a bag for $25, but often they will offer to check it when you get on (no charge) and they have it waiting for you right when you get off. That is the way to go.

I think they would make great bags within bags to keep small items organized while traveling. The small one in a carry on; the other in the (dreaded) checked luggage. Of course thinking and reality don’t always go hand in hand, so I can figure them out once they arrive. At the very worst, I can cross off a name or two from my Christmas list and pass them off onto others.
I absolutely lost all abandon and bought it the moment I saw the belt strap. I imagine the charcoal set would be nice with my travel blazer, and if I pack minimally with proper clothing I could see these being weekender bags when I decide to hop on a plane and go on an urban adventure.

I get by with a sling-type bag for work and daytrips, with an iPad, point-and-shoot, various iPhone photo attachments and cables, but the strap has a buckle that I’ve accidentally unfastened more than once, dropping it on asphalt. This looks perfect, even though charcoal was sold out by the time I got here.
I honestly don’t know what I would do with either size of these bags. They appear to be well-made and Meh is offering what seems like a steal of a price, but I just can’t see how I would ever make use of them.

@mfladd you’d be surprised how crap some of that ‘luxury’ stuff is when you take away the glitz and glam. For example (though not exactly a ‘luxury’ brand I guess) when I worked in the imprintable apparel field we could get you Nike… and we could get you a half dozen ‘no-name’ brands you’d never heard of with equivalent or better quality for a fraction of the price. And yet sports team after sports team wanted Nike, even with absurd multi-month backorders versus the other brands we could have next day if we cared to. Then they’d whine about the season end approaching and how they didn’t have their stuff yet or when it finally showed up want to do size exchanges for product we couldn’t return because it had been decorated. :|
I was thinking lunch in the small bag but it may be too small for lunch. And lunch in the big bag-dunno; would probably get some funny looks in the lunch room. Too well made to ignore, yet completely useless and will wind up in the WOOT closet where re-gifting happens. I’m in.
I actually bought these for the small bag, thinking it was bigger than the zipper pouch thing I have for my bullet journal + pens. Gut the internal dimensions are pretty small on account of lots of padding and severely rounded corners, and I don’t have many notebooks that fit in it. Maybe I’ll just use it as a pencil case.
So, the bags are not a lie and I was able to get them. Too bad I wasn’t able to actually replace my usual duty tote with the briefcase–not that it was uniform compliant anyways. Any roads.
With no shame I actually slipped off my belt and attached the fanny pack to me while I was seated in the middle of a commuter train towards the airport. Because of its clasps it has a nice ability to be level with the ground and with my hips. It can probably hold more than my pockets if I organize, but at the moment it holds the personal affects in my pockets fairly well.
Feels like my flight bags, though I wish they were black instead of just charcoal. But at least it matches my uniform sweater!
I’ll probably have some more comments on it as I use it throughout the day. It’s about to go through its paces!
@thismyusername Mhm! It comes with a belt clasp that is actually pretty nifty. When you have it attached to you at your side, it has the appearance of just a small satchel. Folks won’t really notice it’s basically a fanny pack until they notice there’s no strap. At least, that’s my opinion.

Ok received the 2 bag’s very well made well worth 28 bucks shipped however the larger bag does not fit my 14-inch Dell with the battery removed overall a good buy but honest to God you can put very little in these bags toiletries perhaps maybe 1 pair of jeans or 1 pair of shoes that’s it …It’s a novelty item, I can see why the company gave up on these not well thought out at all like a nice shiny car with no engine

@OldCatLady I just realized why the royal blue one didn’t sell- the straps are olive green. I didn’t notice that on sale day. Royal blue fabric, charcoal gray trim, and an olive green strap. Someone needs to consult a color chart if they’re not out of business yet.

i feel like the problem isnt about marketing. these are just ugly bags. they look dumb, thats all.
@kristbowels Yeah. Briefcases are generally something used on “serious” business occasions. You know, suit and tie old-school board room meetings. That’s not a time most people want to look “trendy”.

@username agreed. Like paying $50 for a white t-shirt with a brand name on it. That’s what happens with luxury brands. The quality might be nice, but you are paying a lot to wear a name.
I would like to know just how many there are and what percentage of buyers they actually make up (approximately).

@mfladd you’d be surprised how crap some of that ‘luxury’ stuff is when you take away the glitz and glam. For example (though not exactly a ‘luxury’ brand I guess) when I worked in the imprintable apparel field we could get you Nike… and we could get you a half dozen ‘no-name’ brands you’d never heard of with equivalent or better quality for a fraction of the price. And yet sports team after sports team wanted Nike, even with absurd multi-month backorders versus the other brands we could have next day if we cared to. Then they’d whine about the season end approaching and how they didn’t have their stuff yet or when it finally showed up want to do size exchanges for product we couldn’t return because it had been decorated. :|
I was thinking lunch in the small bag but it may be too small for lunch. And lunch in the big bag-dunno; would probably get some funny looks in the lunch room. Too well made to ignore, yet completely useless and will wind up in the WOOT closet where re-gifting happens. I’m in.

…But I have to report for duty for a three-day. I’m pissed that I can’t be lugging my sexy manny-pack for work.
I actually bought these for the small bag, thinking it was bigger than the zipper pouch thing I have for my bullet journal + pens. Gut the internal dimensions are pretty small on account of lots of padding and severely rounded corners, and I don’t have many notebooks that fit in it. Maybe I’ll just use it as a pencil case.
So, the bags are not a lie and I was able to get them. Too bad I wasn’t able to actually replace my usual duty tote with the briefcase–not that it was uniform compliant anyways. Any roads.
With no shame I actually slipped off my belt and attached the fanny pack to me while I was seated in the middle of a commuter train towards the airport. Because of its clasps it has a nice ability to be level with the ground and with my hips. It can probably hold more than my pockets if I organize, but at the moment it holds the personal affects in my pockets fairly well.
Feels like my flight bags, though I wish they were black instead of just charcoal. But at least it matches my uniform sweater!
I’ll probably have some more comments on it as I use it throughout the day. It’s about to go through its paces!

@thismyusername Mhm! It comes with a belt clasp that is actually pretty nifty. When you have it attached to you at your side, it has the appearance of just a small satchel. Folks won’t really notice it’s basically a fanny pack until they notice there’s no strap. At least, that’s my opinion.

Ok received the 2 bag’s very well made well worth 28 bucks shipped however the larger bag does not fit my 14-inch Dell with the battery removed overall a good buy but honest to God you can put very little in these bags toiletries perhaps maybe 1 pair of jeans or 1 pair of shoes that’s it …It’s a novelty item, I can see why the company gave up on these not well thought out at all like a nice shiny car with no engine
The little one fits my Fire tablet and the big one fits my Ipad. I’m happy.
I Really want them to Run these again. When they initially ran, I picked up 3 Sets. I use the Small one from the Blue Set I got and havent used the Large one. Gave the other Two Color Sets away as gifts and they liked them very much. But this was an Incredible Deal for a very great item. Not everyone would actually Use one of these on a daily basis, but you can not discount the Quality of These and how incredible the Discount is on them. I want MEH to bring them back…
