The Electrolux Ergorapido 1022A refurb (arcaugusta was the refurb company, pretty sure that is who these are refurbed by) I got from meh july 2017 is still kicking.
The Electrolux Ergorapido that I got the meh one to take the place of is still sitting there with its new replacement batteries UNinstalled… I should get on that.
I like the Ergorapido pretty well the main problem with these are… when in the handheld mode you really need the nose cone and it is stored BEHIND the vacuum so you will find it ends up living next to the stand… also in general with most of these sticks… there is no kick stand etc… so you gotta lay it down when not using it while away from the stand.
Also came to say that cat litter is terrible in this thing. The fine powder clogs the filter. Use a broom. I have to clean the whole thing now because it doesn’t work that great because of the fine layer of dust on everything. My Dyson also hates cat litter dust. This weighs much less than my Dyson and it’s so much easier to deal with for a quick clean up.
@RiotDemon The stick shark rocket I got here 2 years also needs the filter washed fairly frequently due to cat litter dust, but I’ve never had it clog fortunately.
I got a refurb vacuum cleaner like this once upon a time. Never again. Failed within the first week out of warranty. These things are much too meh-canical to rely on a short, third-party, warranty.
Purchased the blue one about a month ago, and I have zero complaints so far. It works great as a hardwood floor and door mat cleaner, and the Dustbuster feature is great for cleaning hard to reach things like the bottom of the stair banister, corners, and cars.
Got one last time Meh sold these (about a month or two ago). I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how long it lasts, how quiet it is, how easy the dust filter is to clean, and how much dust it pulls out of carpet. The engineering of the head/charging station won’t blow you away if you put it up against a $200-$400 Dyson, but I think it fits solidly in the “great value for the price” category.
But since it’s a refurb (mine was too), you know you’re gambling a bit. Hopefully mine can at least make it through the year.
we stopped selling new ones at our vac store a year ago…after selling them for 2 years. Once a week I have a customer come in for warranty issues that bought one during that time period…The only good news is that we are no longer Lux/eureka warrant either, thank GOD…what a horrible company to deal with.
Bought this in January here on Meh. Mine arrived without the charging station. Told Meh, they said they would ship another. Then, said they didn’t have any more to ship. how Meh. Tho, to their credit, they did issue me a refund. YMMV. And, ps. at least the red is discontinued so you cannot find pieces parts for it anywhere.
Bought one last time. It’s good for a quick touch-up or small areas only. It will not get your carpet anywhere near as clean as an AC powered one will, of course. Battery life is not that impressive - maybe 10 minutes max. For the price, you still can’t beat it!
Got one last time, like it so far. Not super strong - didn’t pull as much up from my mattress or couch as I’d hoped, but good for vaccuuming up dry coffee ground spills from hardwood and countertops, and getting a first pass with the vaccuum before a Swiffer-style dry pad on said hardwood works as a really nice combo.
Meh, bought this March 15th. Used it tonight. The switch on the portable vacuum works, the upper one by the handle does not. How do you want to handle this?

Nope Nope Nope
When I saw the words ‘last time’ in the description I was so hopeful. Only to be disappointed. This won’t be the last time.
@norman8 That sucks.
Is it too cliché to say that this deal sucks? Asking for a friend.
In before the “this deal sucks” comments start flooding in
@nolrak Your timing sucks. Nearly as much as this deal…
@nolrak 7.2V is for suckers
Deal sucks, not sure about vacuums

The old thread for that sale is here

@thismyusername I bought the 18v from that sale.
I agree with your review.

Captain Marvel uses these vacuums to suck up the dust of the avengers…
Yikes thats dark.
Also Meh on this deal.
Only thing that sucks more than this deal is the team at Meh that thinks this crap is a better offering than
Meh Face Popsockets
DAY 161 <— Check it out!
“Ergorapido” … I can’t say that without engaging a fake Italian accent.
@awk but what does “therefore rapid” even mean…?
This model is great for picking up cat litter. Vacuum the middle then pop off the hand Vac and get the corners.
I thought it said EgoRaptor at first. Was excited for Game Grumps or some Metal Gear Awesome goodness. Alas…
WORKER BEES! HERCULES! TURKEY GREASE! AWESOME!
Electrolux makes a really good cordless vacuum that I am happy to own. This deal does not suck. Well, I mean it does suck, but not in that other way.
@hchavers I don’t want to know what goes on between you and your electrolux. Get a room. I prefer a platonic relationship with my vacuum.
Then again it is a shark. Teeth would be an issue
Why is the meh face icon for this a person wearing a g-string on their face?
@ravenblack or a cpap mask
Ergorapido vacuumo.
Cogito ergo vacuum?
I’m in for one.

Trust me this vacuum is awful!
@msqaf00 Why should we trust you?

I had one. Loved it until it quit charging.

@fastharry Thank you. You talked me out of this one.
@larasgambati no problem…and if you ever need help in picking a vacuum…or anything vacuum related, pm me…I’ll give you my store number…

14v is sold out, the 7v worth it?
Too many vacuums. Time to bring back the knives!

Mine arrived DEAD
@rherzek make sure to write into support
The charger that came with my unit did not work. I had a different one laying around that works!
Died after 100 days. Meh, I think I’m about through with you.
