This one is probably a better amazon comparison for the 18v model, which is lithium ion (and I’d never by a cordless vac with a lesser battery).

I opted in on this one and have been very pleased with its ability to suck many things, especially dog hair. Battery life sufficient to get through my approx 1000sq ft of non carpeted floor space. However - this is the first time I’ve ever purchased a refurb product that looks like someone used it to beat down a mutant tarantula before sending it back. Wherever it came from must have had an awesome return policy because this thing looks like it was in regular use for at least a year. So it ain’t pretty, but it works - Good enough.
Just got mine, used and beat to hell like slrn says. Not a big deal, what’s concerning is the batteries in it are over 4 years old, which means the most important part was not refurbished. The ones in mine were Sony SE US18650VT3 cells and the date code of ‘VC12’ indicates the battery was manufactured Tue Mar 12 2013 according to this website: https://batterybro.com/pages/18650-date-code-lookup-tool
We’ll see how it holds up, I was hoping for a bit more refurbishment than just replacing the consumables and fixing broken parts.
@thismyusername I believe there were 4 cells. They might have double-stacked at the end of the handle to get 5 in but I am not certain, it would be extremely snug however would make more sense to get 18V (3.7 * 5 = 18.5)
I’m ridiculously happy about this purchase. Been looking for a deal like this for a while. As much as I love my giant bulky Dyson for carpets, I hated it for the rest of the house.
My unit looked brand new except for a little scuff on the writing on the hand vac.
The screw and nut were both loose, and rolling around in the box. It took several attempts to jam the nut back in the handle so the screw would actually catch it. I wonder if that’s why it was returned seeing as it really didn’t look used.

Nothing sucks like Electrolux!
@capguncowboy whistle 10 yard penalty for rhyming
@KMakato I’d say five yards since he didn’t spell it sux.

We bought a Hoover stick vac for our hardwood floors and it doesn’t suck up anything- it just sucks (figuratively not literally unfortunately).

@salaosantiago thanks for that.
@salaosantiago Agreed! I mistakenly bought a 12 volt weed whacker. It sucks and not in a vacuuming kind of way. I should have gone 18 volt.
‘Electrolux’ by Bicycle
I have one of these and it’s great, though, I have hardwood floors…

@Kamokazi did you notice what the total battery count was?
I was hoping they had replaced the batteries as well.

I bought this as a backup while another ergoapido gets the batteries swapped.
Mine has some slight scratches but nothing too dirty, seemed clean.
The ‘assembly screw’ had dislodged from the unit and was hiding in the bottom of the box but otherwise was in good shape.
appears to have new reusable filter, roller bar, attachments
seems to run well haven’t used it for an extended period to tell total run time
