I still have a few more months. I mean, they even sell customised state license plates that say “endless summer” on them. I would rather live in perpetual Florida “winter.”
@f00l in the winter you might actually find me outside. In the summer, I’m outside long enough to walk to my car and then into whatever building. Unless it’s night time… Then I might venture outside for a little bit.
I burn way too easily, and I’m not a huge fan of sunscreen, so I just avoid the summer sun if I can.
/giphy I suck again.
Donny and the Beach Boys? Awesome!
I went back to work (I’m a teacher) two weeks ago. My summer is already over. And I wasted it, teaching damn summer school. Dumbshit.
@Collin1000
No, not dumbshit. You’re a teacher. Ergo, just beaten down until you’ve forgotten the existence of joy.
My condolences

@Collin1000 thank you for being a teacher and trying to educate our future
Good riddance!
In just a few short months I’ll get change my complaint from “It’s too hot” to “It’s too cold”. Yay!
Not uh! I did stuff. Like, small, local stuff… but I did stuff!
Aw, I was just sitting here thinking this.
/giphy right where it hurts
I didn’t get to see any dinosaurs either

@huja
For $1000, right?
Summer isn’t over until the $5 watermelons are gone.
Not in Texas it ain’t, it’s just getten’ started.
@unkabob
Yep.
Summer is still very much here. At least it’s not in the 90s this week.
The crazy rain and cold front thing moved in about 1/3 of the way into August. It’s still here.
Before: Please let me die now please.
After: Hurrah for this late Texas summer! Stay as long as you like! Say, Forever!
It’s February 26th, and this song is stuck in my head.
Summer’s almost here…
