Is this any different than the one they had earlier, the one that looks like the kitchen sink sprayer? I mean besides that this one is attached to the seat and the other one could be multi functional?
@Lynnerizer Not sure what you’re asking. They’re both simple, non-electric, cold-water sprayers. This one is fixed under the seat to spray up and forward. The other hangs on the tank or wall, and does what it looks like it does.
The sprayer style is also known as a shataf or diaper sprayer.
IME the sprayer style leaks more, but the plastic inner workings of cheap bidets can fail spectacularly, so it’s kind of … a wash.
@Lynnerizer This one has a more directed spray. I have a handheld one and it sprays more widely, similar to a showerhead, kind of. It’s more awkward to use than this.
@Kyeh Yes that’s what I was wondering, how it sprayed or cleaned you. I did look on Amazon to see the different types and they have a hand held one with a more precise head that’s adjustable. I still imagine myself (and especially my guy) spraying MORE water all over the bathroom than on ourselves! Lol I’m not sure if we’re ready for this yet.
@whogots Yeah I don’t think I was so clear in asking my question. Kyeh hit on what I was talking about below. Someone else had mentioned about the leaking on the other one they’re offering and plenty of the reviews (on all different ones) said the same thing. Probably holding off for now, thanks for your thoughts.
@cengland0
For a minute I thought today was Saturday and I totally missed Friday the 13th! I literally just pulled down my phone screen to check the date!
@Lynnerizer All the days are blending together for me now that I’m retired. I constantly have to look at my calendar to remind me what I need to do today and what day of the week it is.
The box says this is a “Toilet Paper Eliminator” but I don’t get it. The device sprays water on your butt, so how do you dry off the water?? Maybe use a hair dryer??

Date(‘Sat Sep 14 2024 04:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)’) is midnight eastern, right?
I think it skipped Friday on that date so that change over is a long time away.
EST is 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-4) during the summer months

Yes, it happens at least once a week for me, it’s worse when I don’t have any appointments. Welcome to the world of a life of leisure.

@IndifferentDude You wait.
@IndifferentDude You use a tiny amount of paper to blot off the water and check for cleaning efficiency.
Sorry if this is old news, but did anyone else’s countdown timer freak out? Mine is stuck at 14:61, even after refreshes.
@mikey 14:56 4 eva. At least mine’s a conventional expression of time.
@mikey I noticed and commented about it here:
https://meh.com/forum/topics/dude-wiper-1000-self-cleaning-dual-nozzle-bidet-attachment-6#66e3b2a9f93a2b695fec47c6
Clock’s stuck at 14:59 on my screen
@hockeyham It’s very slowly ticking down for me. Meh.
@hockeyham It is displaying HH:MM versus MM:SS. I guess we will have a ways to go on this one…
@hockeyham
Mine was stuck too! Par for the course around here is what I thought.
It’s obviously the last item so they set the timer to run till 12am
@bugger
Nope.
One more day to go in the thon.
A fitting end…
@ybmuG
Don’t forget that there’s a whole second day to the thon.
It’s themed around the cold.
@FreePasta @ybmuG would be even more fitting if the bidet used ice water
@ybmuG very meh.
@FreePasta ah, well, there’s hope then
/showme Frozen hope
@mediocrebot
Oh that’s pretty…
