Seriously, bidets are the best, most life-changing, products Meh have ever sold. Get one. You think you’re alive, but you’re a mere shell of a human before you have a bidet.
@KSchweitz this one will have cold water. There are some that have heaters. It feels shocking the first time the cold comes on but you quickly get used to it. In summer it can actually be quite refreshing… We’re on well water so our toilet that doesn’t have the heated bidet, the water is cold year round… But never had a problem with that.
The water comes in same.place as toilet. You put a splitter on… One part goes to tank, the other half to bidet.
If you want heated ones, they’re a lot more expensive and harder to install. I had to wire a new GFCI outlet into our bathroom (no outlet there before)… Honestly though, once the novelty of the heated seat/water/blower wore off… I think I like the old simple cold water lever kind more.
@KSchweitz@OnionSoup Not all “warm water” models require power. I have a BioBidet model that is plumbed with both hot and cold water and has a mixer knob to select the temp. It’s in my powder room, and the hot water supply comes from a splitter under the sink and the line runs down into my basement and back up through a second hole behind the toilet where the cold supply comes up.
This is obviously not an option for some situations, but FYI
@medz@xterraguy there is a self clean function on mine, so I just turn that on while I’m going and then it shoots the hot water line straight into the toilet, then it’s warm by the time I need it

@xterraguy do you run the hot water in the sink before poopin’?

Why is there no option to pick a color? I don’t want a black one for my white toilet.
@Dstraktd Because we’re out of white
