This is a photo of a city park across the street from my former workplace. Every year migrating Canadian geese would congregate there during the migration season.
It was important to watch where you stepped. (Pro tip: buy the unlimited package at the local car wash.)
But seriously, the thought process to develop this symbiotic relationship between farmers (and ducks) is inspiring. Everyone wins (except for maybe the snails).
I could imagine someone in the US trying to do something similarly clever, but getting discouraged by contracts, liability clauses, zoning, town hall hearings, environmental regulations, ad nauseum.
Untitled Duck Game
That’s ducking awe some!!
I find stuff like this fascinating. Truly “Same Planet, Other World” situation…I would never had imagined this was a thing!

@macromeh Canada geese. Animals don’t have citizenship.
/showme a patriotic Canadian goose
@DLPanther @macromeh If they were Canadian, they would be much nicer.
@DLPanther Really? because I’d swear I heard them saying “eh?” a lot.
That goose looks like a citizen to me.
I like the dust cloud they raise.
This quacks me up.
