Lifehack: think of Pitney Bowes as an entertainment company instead of a delivery company.
@OnionSoup Umm 0% on rotten tomatoes then.
Spaghettini. In transit for 29 days.
10 days ago it was supposedly given to USPS. USPS says they don’t have it.
@RiotDemon my spaghettini was supposedly given to USPS on the first
I don’t know what carrier service god is smiling on me. I got my foot scrubber in 8 days.
@j37hr0 It appears they use a last in, first out stocking system. So packages in purgatory are likely to remain there and as they start to get their shit together new stuff just moves along. Just what you want from a logistics company…
They are updating for each box.
Our shipping history looks shockingly similar. I’m in FL somewhat near Bradenton and I’ve read and said the phrase “College Park” so many freaking times in the last few weeks you’d think it was my hometown.
@azriell That is why I started the thread. BTW-I’m in Lakewood Ranch specifically. And I’m now getting notifications from the PO so at least things are moving in the right direction.

As I see it, yes

Pitney Blowes. I thought they made staplers.
@Sayyes2theJess Yeah they make industrial staplers that they use to staple your box to some out of the way location they have in, for one example, Greenwood, IN and then they decide to forget about it since it is now too hard to move.
I really want this meh shirt that has been at a stand still because of these guys
Shit show, hate it.
To answer the titular question, the consensus seems to be, apparently not.
It is like none of you remember smartpost.
@Fen_Star Smartpost was Geniuspost compared to Bringme Moles
@Fen_Star Smartpost has gotten so much better in the past 2-3 years. Sometimes, they let the Ground guys deliver it if there is already a package coming to me or they are in the area.
Rankings for the cheap services (i.e. not UPS, Fedex standard/ground)
…
…
…
@Fen_Star @oppodude
Where are the rankings from?
@f00l @Fen_Star My personal rankings based on how stuff gets to me in the “rural” area of West Tennessee. My post office is so good at what they do, plus they have a small building, so they don’t let sit around if they can. Oh I forgot to put the postal service in there. They are #1.5 I guess. I can get a package from NYC to here in 2 days - but take 2 days to get a letter sent in the same county (because everything has to go through Memphis).
Just my 2 cents. But man, I get something shipped DHL …it just annoys me. ESPECIALLY if I pay for shipping. It’s like “We got it, we transferred it to KY, we transferred it to Memphis, yah we sent it to the Post Office (Post office, what?)” - and 3 days later it somehow enters the stream.
@oppodude these rankings are spot on for my experience in the Boston area
But really, they just want to make sure every possible strain of covid-19 is on your package. Sharing is caring.
the wagon train my item was on was decimated in Texas six days ago.
@starfieldroad Your package has died of dysentery.
@blaineg @starfieldroad I’m definitely going to boil my pasta now instead of eating it raw.
I don’t want dysentery pasta.

I have a still undelivered package that spent 14 days in Grapevine, TX and is currently on day 19 in Greenwood, IN.
His singing career went nowhere why would you expect anything different from his shipping company?
This is my first time ordering from Meh, and I did because I read it was basically Woot before Amazon bought them. I thought it would be like old Woot since I’ve ordered from them for many years. I guess not, at least as far as shipping goes. Apparently your orders claim to have shipped but just sit in a warehouse for weeks at a time. Probably my first and last Meh order.
@tmom2001 that’s not the usual. This just started with the pandemic, hopefully P.B. get caught up and figured out or Meh finds another solution.
@Ignorant @tmom2001 yup, before Covid shipping had actually gotten to be almost fast and predictable.
@Ignorant @tmom2001
I’m wondering what is the phony excuse PB offers up for the obviously imaginary tracking log they offer along the way?
And what is the excuse they offer for being so much less reliable than other cut-rate shippers also dealing with the pandamic?
I would think their performance is so poor as to offer any partner biz a legally valid escape hatch from a current contract.
lol
@ryden I had that too with not quite as big a time spread (mine a bit over 2 weeks apart). I also had a new “arrived” posted each day for something like 3 days in a row too. I guess now they are admitting that is is just parked in Greenwood, IN rather than having this fiction that delivered and arrived is somehow different and noteworthy.
@ryden That definitely gives me hope, at least. I’m still at the May 27th wait in Minneapolis. Was worried it was because my post office burned down during the civil unrest.
my package hasn’t moved. they should stick with copiers
All my items are arriving two day delivery with Pitney Bowes!

Nah. Not. Really.
College Park has also had one of my packages since June 11… I guess I’m starting to get a little frustrated
@ugadogch
Mine too! Still sitting at College Park since June 10! Ordered 2 of the same product and 1 was delivered & 1 is sitting in College Park! If I knew where to go, I would go pick it up since I’m in the Atlanta area.
I am in the same boat. My package showed it was picked up by an agent in my town but then the next scan was back in GA again. Methinks a different shipping carrier may need to be looked into.
@tnhillbillygal Same here but my IRK finally got to me today so don’t give up hope.
But has your package made two laps around the country?
@blaineg mine wasn’t as adventurous this time. Been partying in Greenwood, IN and gave its parents a string of lies where it was. Can’t keep its story straight though so, in effect, told on itself.
On the PB complaint thread I posted that I got a survey when I was on their site to see where mine was. I also saw via one tracking they had no record of it, on another they listed two packages with the same tracking information and conflicting information, one of which said, “Delivery exception” (whatever that means) - no longer in IN - after being listed as being arrived in the same new place several days in a row and twice in one day. Except I have USPS notification set up for this and they don’t have it yet. So nope. Might believe they are going to make an exception to delivery and not do it. Ever.
I wish Pitney Bowes didn’t suck so hard.
I have two items I ordered back on May 15th that still haven’t been delivered:
I think there is a typo on Meh’s website. It should say Pitney Blowes!
