@dave Both my better half and I have the rubber sole shoe and boot. I was the first purchase years ago when they used natural rubber for the sole, and those ones are slippery. Now they have treads.
Love Glerups. You can usually snag some more reasonably priced at Huckberry after the holiday/winter season.
@phendrick Stupid bed frames are designed bad, but my wife needed one like a hospital frame that goes up and the base is recessed so there is no way to stub your toes! They could all be designed that way.
Essentially Birks or my felt slippers with Birk-like insoles. Pretty much a requirement after I developed plantar fasciitis. Also good for not stepping barefoot in cat puke. I swear that animal is going to “run away” someday.
For most of my life I have kicked off my shoes as soon as I enter the house but now I work at home mostly on my feet in an uncarpeted room. Sneakers all day for me.
Four cats and a dog = I wear shoes 95% of the time. It’s not messes so much, we don’t really have a problem with those. It’s just the dust and hair and bits of just…stuff. Plus, now that I’m at home all the time, I can wear all the uncomfortable heels that I can’t wear when I’m commuting and walking all over town.
Used to be barefoot all the time plantar fasciitis on and off in both feet for a couple of years made me an indoor footwear wearer. Athletic slides for me.
With a Chinese wife there is NO WAY I can wear outdoor shoes in the house. A pair of sneakers dedicated for indoor use only that look sort of like slippers are ok.
Not usually.
And before anyone asks, I usually don’t wear pants either.

Glerups are pricey but amazing.

I’m not as agile/graceful as I used to be; got to protect my toes when walking around the bed frame, furniture, taking corners, etc.

@Nate311 I’ve got three pair that I rotate through.
@Nate311 That’s hilarious! I’ve never seen those, and it’s a local company!
@Kyeh I’m wearing the “grafitti” version today.
@Nate311 So cool! I can’t believe I’ve never seen those. I like Crocs a lot but they’re not great for me; my feet get sweaty in them.🥵
Why would I?

Not in the summertime. In winter I do or my toes will froze.
Slippahs…
Shoes until the entry; then sandals or slippers the rest of the way.
If it gets cold enough this winter, I might finally even dig these out of the box.

@narfcake aawww
Leave all the grime of the outside world at the edge of the front door, but then the stupid dog just prances in wagging his tail. Filthy animal.
I have a dog that mimics Meh’s picture. Shoes are essential because my wife thinks the dog is.
Shoes are filthy. Keep them out of the main living area.

After three foot surgeries, I wear shoes with prescription orthopedics ALWAYS. Sigh. I have so many beautiful shoes that I can’t wear.
No way Jose!! As much as I love my shoes I would go barefoot all the time if I could!

never in my house, but almost always in somebody else’s.
Initially no but as my carpets became dirtier, I kind of gave up. I try not to but if I do, meh?

Sneakers or Ugg slippers. I hate barefoot. Spouse wears shoes only when required and kicks them off as soon as possible.
