Several Sharper Image Ionic Breeze units of various models, as well as one small HEPA unit in the kitchen. I like the Ionic Breezes because they help keep dust levels down, so I don’t have to dust all my electronics as much. I’ve never bought one new (not that you can anymore!), rather found them in thrift stores and dumpsters over time. I refurbish them and they work fine! Other than the tiny one in the kitchen, I prefer not to use traditional HEPA type filter units because of the expense of replacing the filters periodically.
We bought some because of the forest fires and got more during the pandemic. They helped a lot for air purification when we had to have our doors open for ventilation when our heat pump failed.
At my last place I had to run one or everything would be covered with a fairly heavy layer of dust within a couple of days of cleaning. Current place has zero issues without one. I kind of wonder if I was inhaling a shitload of asbestos from a deteriorating ceiling or something.
I have a Coway one on the main floor of the house that pulls cooking smoke out of the air amazingly well. I’ve been thinking I should get another one for the upstairs near the litterbox and might pick this one up for that.
Nope.
I have an air de-purifier, several in fact. What can I say? I have pets and like beans.
@hchavers ITYM you are an air depurifier.
Why, I have a smelly dog.
I have four HEPA filters, one of which is this model from a prior Meh event. This one made more of a difference than any of the others.

@brennyn I’m also curious as to what may have been causing the excessive dust at your old place! Strange…
Yeah, I have several, and they are all Meh.
I have one, from an earlier sale, in my bedroom.
If being in the middle of an evergreen forest counts, yes.
A monstrous one that I got here or on Woot. Too noisy to run all the time, but it really helped with the forest fire smoke a couple of years ago.
