I'm currently stalking Android news because my phone is nearing the end of its lifespan. Yes, Android people care too; Apple-ites don't have a monopoly on new device eagerness.
I always attempt to keep up with everything that's coming out and try to find the best product in the market; then I realize I'm lazy as hell and end up with all Apple products.
need to know first if in the market for a new gadget. not usually because i want to buy the latest version, but will hold off purchase until after new release to pickup previous (or earlier) version at a reasonable price. however, there may be an exception with the new nvidia shield tablet.

I find the trick is to keep up-to-date on trends, not so much on individual devices. (Is computing getting smaller, say)
