Did you know the Internet Archive has a collection of knitting materials?
9Saw this online, and wanted to pass it along to all the knitters here: https://archive.org/details/knittingreferencelibrary&tab=collection
All of these are viewable directly in your browser, on nearly any device.
You can also download the PDFs from any item to your computer if you’d prefer that.
Happy knitting, and if you see something cool (or make something from a manual there), tell us!

Thanks! I suspect most of it outstrips any knitting ability I will ever achieve, but it’s neat to look at the old materials anyway.
They also have Crochet, but I don’t know how @dashcloud got such a nice directory of stuff…

It looks like mine is a link directly to the Knitting Reference library, and is using the collection view, rather than a general search.
@dashcloud
Do they also have sewing patterns and the like?
If so, then @thumperchick should take a look.
too lazy to answer this question myself. : (
