Me too. Came here at midnight EST… only to see those damn speakers were still for sale… then realized “oh ya, the rest of the country does that weird clock changey thing”.
@RiotDemon Arizona hasn’t observed DST since 1968, and believe it or not, the world continues to spin, the sun still rises in the east, and nobody’s head has exploded.
Some old timers can recall a time before WWII when the whole country didn’t do DST.

@ruouttaurmind Either you actually showed up at midnight EDT, or Meh was running late. After the clock change, we’re now on EST again. xD
@Cappo Ya, all that DST crap, clocky changey stuff… meh.
Wish they would just get rid of it already.

@RiotDemon I wish they’d get rid of unDST. I’d like to stay on DST all the time. I hate 4pm sunsets.
@RiotDemon
Yes yes yes.
MA has a movent to switch all of New England to Atlantic time with no DST.
The equivalent of being on DST year round in ET.
(Reasons for ding it that way have to do with Federal Law somehow or other.)
I just want DST and done. No more changes.
@f00l
Apologies. My speeeellling was way too good in the previous post.
Good thing is that there’s a scapegoat you can blame!

Time zones in general tend to confuse people. Then when you factor in changing the time difference by another hour, well…
@gumtreertmug
@narfcake
That cleared things up.
@gumtreertmug Clear … or opaque?
@narfcake
Cute.
