@Pony I was too, until just a couple of weeks ago, and it finally died. I was heartbroken! Best coffeemaker I’ve ever had!
Had to resort to a Mr. Coffee…but I’d love another Krups!!
After using a multi-cup insulated carafe brewer for a year or two now, I don’t think I could go back to a glass carafe-on-a-hotplate style. Thermal carafe for the win.
Might be different if others drank coffee in the house, and the pot didn’t sit so long cooking.
We actually bought this identical coffee maker at Costco in Dec 2020. I think it was on special and we paid less than $99. It actually IS dripless–which is one reason we bought it. It works great…love the programming features! Note…it has a little filter cartridge to improve tap water quality…a pain to purchase and replace, so we use water from a Brita pitcher…perfect coffee every time. In fact, filtered water is a great idea with any coffee!

@rumpkin If it’s anything like the Cuisinart coffee makers I have, the holder pulls straight out from the filler area. Third party filters can be had for a much more reasonable price than the original ones; these were the ones I bought:

Odd looking, and expensive, IRK.
I REALLY wanted a coffee maker. I REALLY don’t want to pay $99 for it.
@Tadlem43 They’ll have more for cheaper I am sure, based on their inventory on sidedeal
MSRP. What a bargain…
@seraphmonkey Insanity. This is meh ffs
@seraphmonkey I bought the newer version of this coffee maker for $65 over christmas
LOL!
An anti-drip, drip coffee maker with dripless carafe - seems impossible.
14 cups is nice, but not $99 nice. I’m still using the Krups 12 cup coffee maker that I bought from Meh for a whopping $10 in 2015. Still works great.

The company offers them in larger quantities too.
Oh, shit. It has one of those water filters that you will never, ever change.
@medz Never say never. I just changed the ones in my Cuisinart makers last week.
@narfcake
/giphy oh shit!
Nobody bought one this past hour!
