And Amazon's description says "cook, warm and serve" but it only has on and off for each of the 3 slots? That probably doesn't bode well for melting the cheese and keeping it at a reasonable temp.
There is also a $20 triangular model that isn't a lazy susan and just has on for all 3 slots. If you can't control each ones temp its kind of pointless to have a switch for each unless you want to keep turning it off and on to try and maintain temp.
@bph Perhaps it has a sliding temperature control range, ie if the knob is on cook that is full heat but can be dialed back without that particular place being marked?
@TrustableMe Thanks, guys - I wasn't really snotting anywhere, but my wife and I saw this in our local WalMart a few days ago. Of course they're all out of them now so you're right, the price isn't exactly relevant right now. Still... Meh..
@annwat you could always send me your money so you don't have any money to spend on it :).. Yeah I didn't think you'd do that but hey you said talk you out of it
Although it's a neat crock pot item that could be useful, I already have too many kitchen applicances and gizmos I don't even use right now. So I say no thanks Meh, I'll pass on the triple play offer and go for the ""grand slam" of saving my money tonight instead.
Someone should start a nationwide chain of small appliance rentals so we could free up our kitchens from all the used-twice-a-year appliances taking up valuable cabinet space.
The product listed on Amazon that sells for 98.99$ is for a model with 3 one quart capacity warmers. The Meh offer is for 3 16oz. warmers which is half the size as the Amazon listing.
Man, I could be down with a small slow cooker... If you only want to use, say, one or two instead of all three, it won't burst into flames, right? I'd probably just use it to cook for myself, so using all three won't be a likely use-case.
@djslack I bought a 1.5 qt slow cooker from Target. A batch of chili or stew is dinner-for-one, plus enough leftover for a lunch or two during the week.
Alright Meh, does this really compare to the one you list for Amazon because signs seem to point to no. Did you link the wrong one or is your product description incorrect? I ordered because of the comparison and then realized the size differences.
@llabak Congratulations! Are you aware of VMP? When you purchase something you can click the option to join, or join anytime through the VMP Club link at the top of this forum.
@llabak I think you can, if you request it through customer service. Go to your order (click "my account" above) and click the link "I need help with this order" to make the request.
WTF? The order ID is: "rocking-dusty-pot". This poor pot is doomed. I can see the UPS guy heaving this from his open door, towards my front porch, as he barrels down the street at 50 mph. Oh well... he is easier on the packages than that USPS delivery guy who delivered a package on Sunday and was obviously NOT happy about it. Given the loud THUD as the package hit the ground, the angry USPS guy must have body slammed the package down on my porch.

This deal is cooking hot
Thus deal is a crock!
@AttyVette More like a crock of $h*T lol
@Stallion you put weird shit in your crockpot, don't you?
@Thumperchick that comment "stinks"for sure:)
I want the T-Shirt, or it's no deal.
This is kind of tempting, especially for doing 3 different flavors of fondue.
You're once ... twice ... three times a lazy (Susan)

Shirt not included? In for none!
@nadroj why this deal doesn't fit you to a t (shirt)?
Triple play..for big dippers
Seriously, Meh?

@TrustableMe I'm seeing that as "not available" - so the price isn't exactly relevant right now.
@TrustableMe For an out of stock product, likely reduced to that price as a clearance? Seriously, don't be a snot.
@platojello hey hey, keep your snot to yourself.
@Thumperchick hey that's "snot" nice :)
@TrustableMe Thanks, guys - I wasn't really snotting anywhere, but my wife and I saw this in our local WalMart a few days ago. Of course they're all out of them now so you're right, the price isn't exactly relevant right now. Still... Meh..
Who was this poor Susan? Invents something practical, useful, and affordable, and gets called "lazy" for her efforts?
@saodell Bet Susan has dark "circles" under her eyes too.
Looks like Walmart was selling them for $40 (they are sold out right now)

@webender Bah! Déjà-vu!
chalk another one up for the Kitchen Appliance Graveyard.
@mfladd
I know you're not including the Ronco inside-the-shell egg scrambler on that list!
Bass-o-matic, maybe. But not the scrambler.
Selling pot online man?? Get the cheetos out....and you can dip the doritos...
What??!!! Its not that kinda pot??
@eeterrific I know, right? What a crock.
@G1 sounds like a "Crocked" deal to me
I asked my girlfriend for a crock pot triple dipper once and she called me a sick SOB.
quick, someone talk me out of this!
@annwat Don't.
@annwat What 3 things do you think you'll put in this enough to justify owning it? Will you use it more than once a year?
@annwat store it in the top most shelf above the washer and dryer and forget about it the 2 times a year you could have used it ;)
@annwat you could always send me your money so you don't have any money to spend on it :).. Yeah I didn't think you'd do that but hey you said talk you out of it
@annwat This would be great at the holidays time and I would buy it, if the pots were larger. At 2 cups it's too small to be of much use.
@mick try this one at Walmart, $6 more @$44 but 3x2.5qt and 3 temps levels each. can cook with, not just keep warm
http://www.walmart.com/ip/16418358
@mehod thank you.
@mehod 'Never heard of 'Nostalgia Electrics' but that one doesn't look so dorky either. And there are several models.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007N71F16/ref=psdcmw_289940_t1_B005CQRVCC
@chrisi613 That's the tiny version. Different model.
@chrisi613 no holders to get the celery sticks nice and warm, and no individual controls!!!!
That has to be worth 20 extra.
@chrisi613 that's the baby triple play , its only 16 oz. and this meh offered one is 32 oz. I believe..
@thismyusername Well, yeah. 3 controls and individual heat elements would make the cost go up.
@AttyVette Nah, specs say this one is 3 16oz crocks, too. It's just got more features.
@Thumperchick you are right..I looked online and was reading the specs there instead of this ad..thanks for the heads up!!
Although it's a neat crock pot item that could be useful, I already have too many kitchen applicances and gizmos I don't even use right now. So I say no thanks Meh, I'll pass on the triple play offer and go for the ""grand slam" of saving my money tonight instead.
@AttyVette seriously, save the cash for 2 speaker docks :)
@thismyusername lol I have speaker docks everywhere too....

@smgross pretty sure meh messed up on the description haha. I believe this model only comes in a 1 qt model.
@chrisi613 @smgross yep. The same model number's (as todays' meh deal) description at walmart.com indicates 3 x 1 qt. as well. Perhaps a metric conversion issue by meh? Or something? @moose? https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+ounces+in+a+quart&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
@RedOak Yeah I'm dumb. Fixed it.
Crockpot link listed for comparison is also for 3 one quart warmers and not the 16 oz. warmers listed here. Gevalt!
The main problem with crock pots in the first place is that they're too small. This only makes the problem worse.
screw the crock, i want the jersey. Just too perfect for someone who doesn't care for sports.
its 39 dollars on walmart.com
@Sseng587 go ahead and order it over there. See what happens.
Man, I could be down with a small slow cooker... If you only want to use, say, one or two instead of all three, it won't burst into flames, right? I'd probably just use it to cook for myself, so using all three won't be a likely use-case.
@neshcom if that's the case you can get a single small one for like ten bucks at Wal-Mart
@djslack I bought a 1.5 qt slow cooker from Target. A batch of chili or stew is dinner-for-one, plus enough leftover for a lunch or two during the week.
I want that shirt, in Lions colors and make sure the sizes go big! (And I get a chance to buy it before it sells out)
Alright Meh, does this really compare to the one you list for Amazon because signs seem to point to no. Did you link the wrong one or is your product description incorrect? I ordered because of the comparison and then realized the size differences.
@wisenekt model number matches and both walmart.com & Amazon who both claim 3 x 1 qt.
@RedOak …as does the crock-pot.com link.
Shout out for Milwaukee's Beast!
Major cause of lost time before Keystone.
I got mildly excited about this deal then realized you can't actually cook with this :(
That meh football jersey tshirt would have been a great prize for last year's fantasy foot ball winners... just saying... still waiting for my shiva.
This is good for the price.....
My first Meh purchase! I'm so proud of me!
@llabak Congratulations! Are you aware of VMP? When you purchase something you can click the option to join, or join anytime through the VMP Club link at the top of this forum.
@KDemo I am now, and signed up. Hopefully I can get it retroactively applied to my order :D
@llabak I think you can, if you request it through customer service. Go to your order (click "my account" above) and click the link "I need help with this order" to make the request.
@llabak definitely ask https://meh.com/support about applying your newly acquired VMP to this order.

@discmaster Yah, it would be the USPS guy/gal (At least for our local USPS) - and this stuff comes Smartpost.
If double-dipping is unsanitary, how bad is triple-dipping?
This thing is gonna be great for my Tex-Mex night - I've been needing something to keep all my sauces warm at the mole station.
@ableist - Ha! I remember the mole station!
@KDemo https://meh.com/forum/topics/hey-everybody-its-glen---tex-mex-catering
@somf69 Wow, good find. Over a year ago - looks like it was Glen's first appearance.
Can't cook in it? Not a crockpot to me.
