Has anyone bought this? I’ve been wanting an espresso maker, but can’t really spend a ton on one. There aren’t a lot of reviews on QVC’s website, and I feel like my fellow mehmbers here will be straightforward and honest.
Though, just skimming the QVC reviews, and one says it’s the worst thing you can buy. So… maybe I’ll save my $40ish and just stick with regular coffee for now
@LaserEyes i bought one recently and it makes me want a better espresso machine. Its ok for the price and you’d likely spend more getting something similar at Wal-Mart.
@LaserEyes I’ve picked up a few Philips/Saeco super automatic ones over the years (my very first Saeco Gira came from meh or woot I believe). You can often find them locally for $50-100 and then they need to be rebuilt with new seals/o-rings to last another 5-10 years.
I bought one, and it’s OK. The issues I have are that there is no automatic function. It runs water until you stop it. My old one you just pushed a button. The other thing is that the tube for the water uptake from the tank is not in a great spot. Makes it a bit awkward to replace the water tank. It’s also king of big. I do like it and it was good for the price.
