I love Contigo autoseal bottles. I have (only) a half a bazillion of them. Find some "Madison" water bottles (with the carabiner lid) in the 24 or 32oz size & I'll have a whole bazillion! 12 oz? I'm way thirstier than that.
In for 3,one for me and the other two for Christmas presents (that's right, I'm sad myself that my mind went there) for 2 of my friends who also have brewing machines.

I like contigo travel mugs. They don't leak, and are generally of good quality. The only problem is when the plastic lid breaks. Contigo will happily sell you a new plastic lid for $5+ shipping. Also, they keep changing the design so the lids aren't compatible. 12oz is too small. Costco has the bigger auto seal mugs for $15 for two right now.
@ardgedee BACK IN MY DAY CONTIGO MUGS AT COSTCO WERE AT LEAST 16 OZ. They keep shrinking..... If my local Costco ran out I wouldn't buy them from Costco.com. I am happy to report however that my Costco has a big pile of them at the moment.
Second one of these that I bought; this one is going to a friend who LOVES anything in purple. This will work like a charm for her. I prefer my silver one, specially since the weather has cooled down and I'm back to drinking hot tea and hot chocolate. :-D
Contigo are the best coffee mugs and water bottles made, period! At less than 1/2 of the going price, buy 2 and keep one at the office. It is amazing how much less coffee you will end up throwing away.
Only keeps it hot up to 4 hours? I have a thermos one that keeps it drinkable for up to 12, though I've yet to have the liquid stay around long enough to test that claim. And it was like $16 and is bigger (24oz). Meh. Though this small of a coffee mug would justify more coffee breaks...
I feel bad about this after my comment few weeks back about bottles you can't even put coffee in. I feel responsible ,everyone's who's made it this far. We've all done the worst kinds of things just to stay alive. But we can still come back. We're not too far gone. We get to come back. I know... we all can change.

You should just do a deal a day and mugs. Mugs being like the item that's always on the menu. Myself I don't need anymore mugs so I was disappointed to see YAMD.
So, I've been using my purple (hi, Barney!) mug for a bit now. Don't really need it for hot drinks, but it was great for bringing a hot breakfast burrito to work, and I used it for steel-cut oatmeal the last two days. I put a little piece of plastic wrap on before screwing on the top to keep oatmeal out of the lid. I just bought it to renew VMP, but I'm really glad I did, unlike some other meh stuff still in boxes.

Not only do these actually not leak, but they keep coffee so hot you have to drink it slo-o-owly. It makes the 12 ounces last a while.
