"Checkout.org"? That's sub-par, not mediocre!

mediocratic thought this was worth mentioning said Sun, Oct 4th 2020 at 11:04pm ET

Um… why am I getting emails that say “checkout.org, creators of meh.com, mediocritee.com, etc.” instead of “Mediocre Labs”? Indeed, mediocre.com just resolves to an online property list, and the site footers no longer make any mention of Mediocre. Just Checkout.

Did you guys just pull another woot send off!?

Checkout.org is the company’s umbrella brand for their retail stores. For us it’s not too necessary, but for normal people I guess this sort of thing helps them feel confident in buying something from a place that isn’t Amazon.
