@IndifferentDude they’re available in six colors, just not here. Later in life you might find them available at the estate sales of Mehtizens and Morningsavers or people who purchased them before here who bought the other four colors.
I find silicone to be a minus on oven mitts. Eventually when the outer layer starts coming off, and you’re just wearing a glove, and you won’t realize it doesn’t insulate well until after you grab something hot.
@AaronLeeJohnson I have a different beef with grippy silicone oven mitts like these: if I grab the (e.g.) handle slightly wrong, there’s no “adjusting” it mid-carry if I’ve caught too little of the handle (or whatever); I have to find a safe place to set down the hot item again, let go of the handle, and re-grip it.
Maybe I’m the lone user with this problem, but it happens every damn time I’m at my brother’s house, using his silicone oven mitts and it never happens at my house, using my non-silicone oven mitts.
Oops, that was my show me of a pot holder fulls of ants, but I accidentally deleted my comment instead of editing it. In any case, it was a mediocrebot fail.
I got a set of these, and I love them! I’m an avid home cook, and use these on an almost daily basis. They’re bigger than my Cuisinart ones, very thick, and the silicone has proved to be very secure. They’ve gone through numerous washings and still going strong.
Bonus-you can also use them to grip those hard to open jar lids.
Perfect timing! Was just saying to the wife that we desperately needed to replace our pot holders. We’ll see how we feel about the silicone that those above are saying isn’t always the best thing to have on a pot holder, I’ll come back with a review.

@IndifferentDude
Sorry; I’m holding out for six identical colors.

@AaronLeeJohnson Same thing with fake boobs, but when the outer layer starts coming off it’s time for @yakkoTDI to clean out the trunk.

What is this… a sleeping bag for ants?

@warpedrotors ants that can’t read, specifically.
Ew, Mediocrebot is pulling AI images now?
@zekedms On request, no less.

Perfect I was looking for a holder for my tablet
No thanks. I still have my bear claw oven mitts with the disgustingly unsanitary claws that manage to dip themselves into everything I bake.
Can my feet fit into these?
@pakopako It depends on your shoe size.
@lisagd Then I could walk on fire!

As for Georgia Red, I bought these back during a meh-a-thon for Christmas gifts . . and the order was cancelled! Shock horror! I was appalled!
In for 6 for next Christmas.
