@ConAndLibrarian@jst1ofknd@username couple years ago, cbd products sprung up at health foods/ suppliment stores here in Ohio. Then 2 months ago the state pharmacy board declared their sale illegal outside the state authorized medical cannabis dispensaries, none of which are online yet…
Note that these also contain melatonin. Fine (or not, up to you) if you’re looking to go to sleep. Probably not if you want to go to work or something.
@awk I thought the same thing. I loaded the site and it said gummy bears at the top, but then I was disappointed. If they sold the ones from December 26th, 2016 again for around the same price I would be in.
@awk@lakertaylor13 ditto. I have worked at jobs since 16 that have always drug tested me. So I am one of those rare adults who has never tried pot. These are a no because not worth risking my job.
@CaptAmehrican Huh - I am nearing retirement and I’ve never taken a whiz quiz. Even at a couple employers that adopted testing while I worked there, I was grandfathered out. So it’s not something I’ve ever worried about.
@eeterrific pain and anxiety relief, etc. i know several people who use cbd pens or products with cbd oil and it’s useful for them. my partner and i have toyed with the idea as neither of us like weed in any thc-having form but have yet to bite the bullet and try cbd. these gummies aren’t likely to be as helpful tho i’m guessing
(i realize your comment may be rhetorical and for comic relief but a lot of people ask this genuinely, so.)
There are no guarantees that the label accurately reflects what’s in the product. For a 2015 study published in JAMA, researchers tested 75 products [cannabis] purchased in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle and found that only 17 percent were accurately labeled. More than half of the products contained significantly lower levels of cannabinoids than the label promised, and some of them contained only negligible amounts of the compounds.
I was all excited as I love CBD, But these seem to be very cheap and full of junk. To get this amount of quality CBD gummies, you are looking at a couple of hundred bucks.
I take CBD on rare occasions to help with anxiety and pain. 1 20mg capsule def is pain relief, though not total its gone levels of relief. The ass tasting CBD tea is 100mg in 2 50mg servings and 50mg definitely takes the edge off anxiety wise to the point where I can actually tolerate being around other human beings without wanting to just disappear. Can’t vouch for these though, never heard of or bought them. I don’t think CBD is regulated though so the content is arbitrary?
@whogots I’m pretty broke too, I ended up getting some green mountain brand CBD 30ct 20mg capsules from Healthy Living market, mostly because they were the cheapest. I don’t think they are as potent as advertised though. The Tea is stupid expensive, its like $9 a bottle but it’s no joke, it definitely helps. It is the worst tasting thing I have ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth however, and advise a lot of sweetener of your choice if you wanna try it. Here’s a picture I found of the bottle. Cause its so expensive I’ve only used it twice but it has had a marked improvement to my mood and pain, I’d use it more often if I could. I was planning on buying a 3rd bottle to just have on hand for situations in which I would need a more effective dose.
@jro2020 SD must have recently doubled down on this. CBD products were available at many places in Sioux Falls (largest city) but they all kind of disappeared over the summer. Unfortunate SD is always behind the curve.
@jro2020 legal in Indiana, as well. it was illegal, and then it wasn’t. then it was, again. and now it’s back to being legal. Oh, Indiana. I love you but you’re hurting me.
@jro2020 I live in a small town in Kansas. Yes it’s legal. A local
Pharmacy carries it and advertises it. But apparently there are a ton of regulations just to be able to carry it, a vape shop doesn’t because of that. 1 sketchy tobacco shop does, but they probably aren’t ‘legal’ to do so.
@macromeh liquor laws are completely up to the locality. When I went to school in Brookings they had only one city run liquor store. I think it has since expanded but the state is full of crazy restrictive laws. Weird considering how elections have generally turned out. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@thewynner Hey, my wife went to SDSU. She still has family in the area, so we visit semi-regularly.
Here in Oregon, it’s hard stuff in the state liquor stores, beer and wine in the supermarkets/drug stores/quickie marts/etc. Just across the river in Washington, everything is available in the supermarkets.
There’s quite a bit of discussion regarding various aspects of this item, it’s legality, etc. But aside from all of that, I can’t help but wonder… what series of events led to Meh acquiring a large quantity of these things?
Which brings to mind additional, somewhat disturbing, questions. For example, what do the Meh folk do after clocking out for the day? Where do they go? What company do they keep? What, exactly, do they do for the many hours before their next day at the office?
I don’t require specific answers. I would prefer not to have specific answers, in fact. Some things should never be openly discussed.
But whatever it is that happens, whatever they do… They ended up with a large quantity of off brand CBD gummy bears, of somewhat suspect provenance.
I’m hoping Meh consulted some very good lawyers before offering these up for sale. The legalities around CBD, whether derived from hemp or not, are far from clear.
Brand seems reasonably well-rated, science says expired CBD gummies (not saying these are expired, just we didn’t get information about that) are basically still good CBD wrapped in expired gummy, and my wife sleeps better with both CBD and melatonin already; sounds like a good deal to me.
@AE1360@Thumperchick balance for the sake of balance is not always a good thing. Presenting both sides of the story as if they both have equal weight regarding the truth is the same problem that leads to a lack of consensus on the truth and creates further political division in America through shitty news shows that refuse to take a stand on anything for the sake of viewer retention.
@Thumperchick Balance schmalance! Of course Diamond CBD’s self published report has glowing information. History is littered with similar situations:
“Cigarettes are perfectly safe!” - every cigarette manufacturer.
“Asbestos is the new wonder material and it’s perfectly harmless” - AMA (ie Asbestos Manufacturers Association)
“Love Canal homes are THE place to raise healthy kids!” - Love Canal Developer’s press release
I wonder if a Meh employee actually does the highlights of the forum or if it is artificial intellimehnce?
Where is Awuwu?
Meh you darling scared him off already. 3 days of the most enjoyable koolaid I have drank since my bris.
Speaking of what Meh I ask of you Meh to return? Dolby Atmos and Eurosocks. W8n on some of that.
If you melt these down will you find a nail and two thumb tacks? Sure would be nice hope I don’t sieze from playing with my food.
If Mehdiocrebot is the highlighter than she should answer for her blaspheming sin of not including meh in her Highlights, I imagine many girls are bots so tits only natural…
Answer me Medicare not what say you~ Sacrilege is uwr nam.
Is there any actual clinical proof that CBD might help with anxiety?
I’ve heard good things, but I’m not sure if it’s just the placebo effect or not.
And sure, the placebo effect produces real outcomes, however it usually doesn’t last more than a couple months.
If something works, it works: enteric coated peppermint oil pills help my IBD better than low dose opiates do, but I’m pretty thoroughly sick of that whole weed as snake oil thing, especially because getting high was sold as being helpful for anxiety not very long ago, and whenever SWIM actually had a panic attack specifically because of it, there was always some excuse: you’re taking the wrong strain, you took too much, you took too little, you need to vaporize it, eat it, imbibe it rectally, etc…
@Narwalt The problem is not enough research can be done because of it’s classification as an illegal drug. This leads to demonizing on one side and belief that CBD is the cure for every disease on the other.
I purchased CBD oil for anxiety, but I’m too chicken to try it. I may look on the reddit site to see if it’s reputable.
@naropa@Narwalt CBD is not classified as an illegal drug. Hemp oil is legal to use.
I’ve used it for a few months, and it’s not a miracle, but it does help with my Chiari-based migraines. It’s better than taking an ibuprofen every day.
There are countless research studies completed or going on at this time. You can do some basic research or check the r/CBD subreddit for more information. Major newspapers are endorsing it based on the evidence available, as well as several politicians.
It does not make you high, you are worrying over nothing, and if you are in pain you should try it.
Anxiety? It helps a little bit from what I know, but again, we’re not talking a miracle.
The main debate is about the dosage at this time, with some studies showing that 15mg works, and others in the 100s of mg’s.
@Narwalt it is known that while many people ingest thc in some way or form and it makes them happy, calm, tired, less nauseous, focused, etc or some combination thereof, that it can also have the opposite effect, esp in people with anxiety. and, in my experience with any drug once you’ve had a bad experience or several, it makes it increasingly harder to have a good one, even under the right circumstances. there are mental aspects to drug use. for years i used thc in various forms and life was good. then, it was like a switch flipped and it just no longer held any positive outcomes for me. so, i stopped using it. and it’s become a joke every time i turn it down how long it will take before i start hearing about needing “the right strain.” i’ve learned over the years that stoners are the only drug users that really try to push what they’re doing on you - they’re like the vegans of the drug world, basically and with all the infinite permutations of strains & formats combined with infinite permutations of moods, time, and space, is there a combination out there in which i might have an okay time, in theory? sure. but will i chance the overwhelming likelihood that instead i’ll feel horrible (and worse, with no way to fix the horrible feeling besides wait)? no, i will not.
(also please note i am not anti weed, anti thc, anti drug, or anti legalization. thc just isn’t my drug of choice. also in before #notallstoners )
@Narwalt also, all that said, the others are right - CBD and THC are not the same, and in my estimation unlike THC, the worst that happens if CBD doesn’t work for you is nothing.
The worst thing is that I waste hundreds of dollars on bunkem, buoyed by the placebo effect, where, for the course of a couple weeks to a couple months, I actually start feeling better, only because I have the expectation of feeling better, then when that finally wears off, I keep wasting money I don’t really have in the hope that the initial effect was a genuine one that will return.
Edit: Not to mention spending more money upping the dose and seeing if that has any effect.
Real CBD is safe and great, this however is not. DiamondCBD is known for using synthetics, people have died using their product, no clue how they’re still in business
CBD is horrible if ingested. Most bond to fat cells never making it to the receptors in the brain where if it was actual decent dosage would be of some use. This is just a sad attempt of a company trying to get rich on the CND trend.
This might be my favorite write-up, ever. “I refuse to read the beauty article as an act of self-care”, “the ROI is I threw up in my mouth”. Can I put this write-up in my gratitude journal for the November challenge (#blessed)?
According to the DEA, this would still be illegal. Legal (approved) CBD extracted from marijuana or hemp is a schedule V CDS, non-approved is schedule III. Just like marijuana, though, no one is federally enforcing this and it is being left up to the states to enforce. Each state is handling that differently.
“Marijuana and CBD derived from marijuana remain against the law, except for the limited circumstances that it has been determined there is a medically approved benefit. In those instances, such as here, the drug will be made appropriately available to the public for medical use.”
I’m neither for nor against its use, just wanted to provide a reference and some info.
Cheers.
@wood8176 This is true but to highlight your point, the states are being allowed to run the show here. Most states allow it as long as the THC content is less than 0.3%. THC naturally occurs in small amounts in the parts of the plant where CBD is extracted. Some states require CBD products to be THC free as is the case in Kansas.
Statement of Principles Concerning Industrial Hemp and the Agricultural Act of 2014 -
The U.S. Department of (USDA), in consultation with DEA and the FDA, also released a statement of principles concerning provisions of the Agricultural Act of 2014 relating to the cultivation of industrial hemp. Industrial hemp is a low-concentration THC variety of the cannabis plant intended to be used for industrial (e.g., fiber and seed). This is intended to inform the public, including institutions of higher education and State departments of agriculture, how Federal law applies to activities associated with industrial hemp that is grown and cultivated in accordance with Section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014.
This statement of principles outlines the legalized growing and cultivating of industrial hemp for research purposes under certain conditions, such as in states where growth and cultivation are legal under state law. The 2014 Act did not remove industrial hemp from the list of controlled substances and, with certain limited exceptions, the requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the CSA continue to apply to industrial hemp-related activities. The statement of principles addresses questions including the extent to which private parties may grow industrial hemp as part of an agricultural pilot program, the circumstances under which the sale of hemp products is permitted, and other related topics.
You go out of your way to say “who knows?” about whether this stuff has any merit. Going into it, fair enough; but you could easily enlist your buyers to give honest feedback about its effects! I’m sure you’ll sell alot of this stuff, and people’s feedback could be tantamount to a crowd-sourced study into its effects.
Put together a Google Forms survey, and your results will come back as a spreadsheet, which should be easy to analyze (if you design the survey decently).
If this interests you, let me know. I’d be happy to give you a hand with the design and analysis.
Does the container actually say how many mg per piece (or container) anywhere? I would have expected to see it on the nutrition label. All I see is “750X” or “1000X” which means nothing.
@izzypoobah theres another thread about the questionable potency/legitimacy of this product/manufacturer. personally i won’t be getting any because of that.
Stay away. While these seem like a good deal at first, look at the ingredients. CBD is last on the ingredient list. Personally I use Everyday Optimal products. First ingredient is Pure Cannabidiol Oil… CBD.
Thanks for posting the ingredients. I was considering buying these as a Christmas present for my wife, but she’s a strict vegetarian - gelatin won’t fly with her.
That’s seriously not a criticism, or a passive-aggressive swipe. I’m genuinely grateful that you did that.
My mom uses CBD oil. It helps with her anxiety, not so much her pain. I haven’t figured out how much she would have to take to get any pain relieving effects.
With the oil she has to hold it under her tongue for it to absorb properly. I’m curious how eating it would affect it’s usefulness.
Looking for a sleep aid, I recently tried some CBD oil (purchased at a legal, state-regulated pot shop). Five bucks for a tiny sampler vial that claimed to be about two doses. The one I bought also had something like 4% THC. Tasted pretty bad (kind of reminded me of bong water from back in the day). It produced a relaxed feeling with a very mild buzz. Comparable to a small glass of wine. No major aid to sleeping for me (or staying asleep, I should say). Not enough benefit for the price, IMHO.
@authent1ck’s warning re: Diamond CBD’s alleged use of synthetic, psychoactive additives (aka spice) should be more prominent. Click the star below if you agree. /r/CBD also has a sidebar warning to avoid Diamond CBD products. /shrug
Is reddit even a credible source for information? I just combed google and there’s no credible sources reporting what these folks are saying on reddit… There an actual news article that reported a store clerk selling a knockoff Diamond product that contained synthetics.
@yarp cool, thanks. I found another article like this. In all cases, it appears that the local smoke shop was the source of the questionable ingredients… and not the actual producer / manufacturer.
GW Pharmaceuticals says the average list price of Epidiolex is $32,500 a year.
Although Epidiolex is approved only for the treatment of two rare seizure disorders, doctors can now prescribe the medication “off-label” for other conditions.
@fjp999 I actually got excited for a moment, My PM is going to put me on Medical Marijuana whenever Ohio finally starts selling this but then I read that it’s only approved for epileptic syndromes and mine is pain related so I guess I won’t be asking her about this on my next visit by hopefully by then the dispenser will finally be up and running which was suppose to be done back in Sept but now won’t be until January
@NoImNotNSA You could still talk to your PM. The article does talk about many doctors prescribing this new med “off-label” for other conditions. Of course no one knows if it will work for other conditions or about insurance coverage.
As a medical cannabis patient, I find high CBD strains to to be very effective for my various nausea and pain casing health conditions. However, these things look…sketchy. Even the “usual” price seems suspiciously low for a real CBD product as compared to what I see at the dispensary. I used experimental synthetic THC pills briefly before I lived in a medical state (the digestive disorder I had was very rare, so my doctor was trying all kinds of weird stuff), and those pills did nothing, unlike the actual THC I was able to get from cannabis. I wonder if this is a similar situation?
I am all for CBD but there no guarantee this is real.
From the reddit forums, it seems this stuff is either synthetic or a very low dose from what is stated. The fact that meh has picked this up should be a clear sign to stay away. (anyone remember how nasty the power blast energy gum was?)
Anything consumed or cosmetic (makeup to teeth whiteners) is best left to morningsave… let me consult my meh-gic 8-ball…
I freakin love the power blast gum (I got mixed berry). Not for the flavor - the first 2 minutes taste like berries, then chewing down a caffeine pill. I didn’t buy them for a taste treat. They serve the purpose intended. Ok back on topic…
Not a lot of love here in the forum for today’s product, but it’s the best-selling item in over a month by quantity, and the second-best-selling by revenue (only the Roomba has it beat), and there’s still more than eight hours left in the day.
Welp, that’s great. I bought these in the hope they would reduce anxiety, but now I’m really anxious about whether they will kill me. Thanks, commenters.
I ordered 2 sour and 1 regular and got all 3 regular! Sour ones were for me and regular for my mom…Hey Meh…who ate my sour ones and sent me the crappy regular flavor gummies? I want my sour gummies
@Yetithebear I think the warehouse workers love the sour ones and are chowing on them while they mess up packing the orders due to being so relaxed, sleepy and addicted to the sour sleepy goodness of the cbd gummies…
@Purplefroggie I’m hoping that’s the case, waiting to see if i get a reply from customer service here. Kinda bummed out, my first order from meh and I only got half of it
@Yetithebear they will respond. I received responses from 2 different reps. They are actually very good at rectifying any issues. I have been a member for over 3 years and I have ordered way more things from this site than I ever really needed. I think this may only be my second problem out of a zillion orders and I feel very confident they will make it right.
@Purplefroggie that’s good riiii hear. I’ve spent way more money than i should have on woot but haven’t ordered anything here. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Just got mine today. I can honestly say they are the real deal and they work wonderfully (only had one).
Recovering from broken hip, spine and ribs. Stress eczema and I have never felt this calm in years!
The regular ones are bitter. They have an unknown dose of melatonin in them. They have an unknown amount of CBD oil in them. The label says 1500x not 1500mg.
I ordered the 500mg. Through a series of unfortunate events, I have learned the following. I am wiser now, and came back to pass along this wisdom:
If there is even 0.001% THC in these, it is illegal to sell, buy, or possess them in the State of Texas (where we - that is, YOU, meh, and I - reside)
Although these were advertised as THC free, the local police (Plano, TX narcotics division) THC field test comes back clear as day and these gummies tested positive.
It’s my own fault for not doing more research. But Meh, be warned. The “THC Free” label is false, and you are violating the law by selling these.

@vinuash someone must volunteer for science.
@vinuash Do you want to fail a drug test? Sales reps will tell you to not use the product if drug tests are an issue.

Did some research a while back. You would have to eat a crap ton. Probably two full jars of the 750

I’m drunk enough to buy but no I’m not drunk enough to buy this! I’m sober apart from beer. Ha ha. I’ve had a few already. Why would I get this?
How is this legal? I thought even CBD for medical reasons weren’t legal in USA, at least not all states
@username it basically is, or may be soon enough.
Edit: decent explanation here: https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2018/11/1/18024806/cbd-oil-vape-hemp
@username
Because the making you high part has been taken out somehow. It’s even legal in Oklahoma. That’s saying something.
@username as long as the CBD has zero THC, it’s fine. I always look at the ingredients as I often travel with CBD and don’t want the hassle.
BTW, these gummies seem like crap, tons of junk in them.
@username It’s typically sourced from hemp, but yes, the laws are super sketchy.
@username My understanding is that CBD from industrial hemp is legal in all 50 states. The thing is it has to have less than .3% THC. That is the difference between medical marijuana and industrial hemp. It makes no actual sense, because it’s the same plant, but there you go.

@username
CBD is generally extracted from hemp, which has high CBD and almost no THC. CBD is non hallucinogenic, and therefore no high can be had.
Most states allow hemp CBD recreationally, and it is not considered to be a controlled substance.
Source: I work for a doctor that does Medical MJ cards quite a bit, have used cbd in the past andy dad uses it.
@imzwho @username did anyone else come to the forums looking for THC gummies?
@jst1ofknd @username there was a recent law pass that made CBD accessible to everyone in the US.

@Kerig3 ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
Shoulda saved these for April Fool’s, Meh
Note that these also contain melatonin. Fine (or not, up to you) if you’re looking to go to sleep. Probably not if you want to go to work or something.
@jmbaker melatonin won’t make you go to sleep. It will help you sleep when you want to sleep but it won’t make you fall asleep
@jmbaker @OnionSoup it’s not good to use when you don’t go to sleep though. Can really mess up sleep/melatonin production schedules.
@jmbaker How much melatonin does it have? It doesn’t say on the jar.
@craigtrombley No idea, I just noticed it on the ingredients label. Probably best to contact the manufacturer.

gumMeh.
I was curious until I noticed that they contain melatonin. That made it an immediate no-go.
ah so these are just gummies

Only six states completely outlaw CBD: Idaho, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Indiana, and West Virginia.
Well guess i won’t risk it…

@thewynner I always thought it was weird that I had to buy beer at a liquor store when visiting SD.
@jro2020 @Kyser_Soze I must have missed where I said it would hold up in court. I was making a statement about where this falls morally.
“contains no THC, it won’t get you high.” The sugar high will make up for it.
Shudder.
@shahnm prob due to this
@shahnm Two words: Dumpster Diving.
I’m hoping Meh consulted some very good lawyers before offering these up for sale. The legalities around CBD, whether derived from hemp or not, are far from clear.
@Name_Too_Long
,…and all this candy when? On Nov 1st, the damn day AFTER Haloween! What did I miss,… who,… what,… where?¿
The CBD derived from hemp is not the same quality as CBD derived from cannabis. Like comparing reggie to kind, it’s all in the genetics.
Brand seems reasonably well-rated, science says expired CBD gummies (not saying these are expired, just we didn’t get information about that) are basically still good CBD wrapped in expired gummy, and my wife sleeps better with both CBD and melatonin already; sounds like a good deal to me.
/giphy salty-effective-assassin
@ravenblack
I’ll try some, sure. I hear it may help with anxiety. And since, as noted earlier, it has melatonin as well, if nothing else it’ll put me to sleep.
This shit’s pretty expensive, though, so just one.
/image whimsical-rewarding-stomach
Over at reddit there some issues with this company
@obadiah
What kind of issues? This is pretty vague/meh of you.
@obadiah @sippinndippin
Shady company using synthetic drugs in these that are linked to deaths, apparently.
@obadiah @sippinndippin
I can get a five pound bag of Haribo gummies for ten bucks. The pineapple gummi bears definitely reduce my anxiety. I have no idea about this crap.
This brand has a horrible rep. I’m only sharing this because I was curious as I almost bought these.
Lab is very reputable.
@AE1360 for balance: https://www.diamondcbd.com/blog/independent-lab-reports-confirms-diamond-cbd-products-contain-zero-synthetics
@AE1360 @Thumperchick balance for the sake of balance is not always a good thing. Presenting both sides of the story as if they both have equal weight regarding the truth is the same problem that leads to a lack of consensus on the truth and creates further political division in America through shitty news shows that refuse to take a stand on anything for the sake of viewer retention.
@superpooper @Thumperchick
The company who did this test is one of the best in the business.
Just look at the feedback on reddit, the brand is shady

/giphy We are all dumber for hearing this
@sippinndippin Was this like a lab rat report after trying a sample of these gummies?
@shahnm
Thank you for getting it.
@shaconaqe I explained it or did I?
This CBD-in-everything is a bunch of BS.
It just expensive, overrated hemp oil.
Valerian root gummy bears on the other hand, …
@mike808 oh glob, just thinking about the smell of valerian root gummies
Ah shit…well it’ll either get me really fucked up or put me to sleep the endless slumber, either way, thanks Meh!
@naropa @Narwalt CBD is not classified as an illegal drug.
@jerk_nugget
DiamondCBD is known for using synthetics, people have died using their product, no clue how they’re still in business
top sticky has a list of legit and vetted vendors.
@authent1ck Thx for the heads up!
Sans sugar of any kind, I would buy.
CBD is horrible if ingested. Most bond to fat cells never making it to the receptors in the brain where if it was actual decent dosage would be of some use. This is just a sad attempt of a company trying to get rich on the CND trend.
Do these have the same side effects as the sugar free gummi bears?
@wickhameh I am picturing bad digestive side effects. Am i close?
@naropa If you want some of the best reading on the entire internet, just read the reviews for these:
https://www.amazon.com/Haribo-SUGAR-Classic-Gummi-Bears/product-reviews/B006J1FBLM
It has pretty much become a story writing contest of the worst gastrointestinal debacle ever imagined!
Each state is handling that differently.
https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2018/09/27/fda-approved-drug-epidiolex-placed-schedule-v-controlled-substance-act
@wood8176 most CBD is derived from the hemp plant, not the marijuana plant which is what the law is about.
@RiotDemon
Same plant…Cannabis, cultivated to have low THC levels.
Again, I’m not for or against this product and not trying to argue, just trying to inform.
https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2016/08/11/dea-announces-actions-related-marijuana-and-industrial-hemp
@wood8176 Thanks. Didn’t realize this.
@wood8176
Here’s one more article on the subject. Enjoy.

@izzypoobah you have to look at the serving size. 6 pieces and 12 servings per container. So that’s 72 pieces, divide into 500mg.
@izzypoobah theres another thread about the questionable potency/legitimacy of this product/manufacturer. personally i won’t be getting any because of that.
Reddit discussion has scared me off of buying this company’s products. It’s really too bad bc I have seen CBD do wonderful things for people.
With the bad reviews, I’m going to have to pass.
After reading everything I went ahead and took the plunge anyway, order number would’ve made for a really funny GIPHY ( Uber-alert-sheep )
@bigtom67 Why speculate?
/giphy Uber alert sheep
@bigtom67 OK so I had to reload a bunch of times to get something relevant to come up. This is relevant, I guess, but… W.T.F.?
@bigtom67 @shahnm it gets better.
@bigtom67 @RiotDemon
@bigtom67 @RiotDemon @shahnm

@shahnm @tnhillbillygal because, internets!
@greg8920 even so, is it worth the risk?
@greg8920 https://www.click2houston.com/news/cbd-oil-with-synthetic-cannabinoids-seized-from-3-houston-smoke-shops-police-say
@RiotDemon You only live once, right? ha
@yarp cool, thanks. I found another article like this. In all cases, it appears that the local smoke shop was the source of the questionable ingredients… and not the actual producer / manufacturer.
@greg8920 Reddit is where my teenager gets all his “news”. I fear for the next generation.
@sammydog01 terrifying.
From yesterday: First FDA-approved cannabis-based drug now available in the US
https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/01/health/marijuana-drug-epidiolex-prescription/index.html
If this really is full spectrum CBD it should be good stuff. Worth a shot.
/giphy unobtrusive-chatty-peach
@The_Tim Wow, that’s a lot of whatever this stuff is.
/giphy unobtrusive-fragile-steel
Meh has high hopes with these.
Welp, that’s great. I bought these in the hope they would reduce anxiety, but now I’m really anxious about whether they will kill me. Thanks, commenters.
@hughgrection Mine just arrived. Only one way to find out. Cheers!
@charliefaber @hughgrection Have your loved ones follow up with us, OK?
I ordered 2 sour and 1 regular and got all 3 regular! Sour ones were for me and regular for my mom…Hey Meh…who ate my sour ones and sent me the crappy regular flavor gummies? I want my sour gummies
@Purplefroggie at least you got 3, I ordered 2 sour and got 1
So… has anybody tried these and lived to tell of it?
@hughgrection had some last night. I take em for stress and sleeplessness. Helps with both.
Anyone else order multiple and only get one container?
Just got mine today. I can honestly say they are the real deal and they work wonderfully (only had one).
Recovering from broken hip, spine and ribs. Stress eczema and I have never felt this calm in years!
The regular ones are bitter. They have an unknown dose of melatonin in them. They have an unknown amount of CBD oil in them. The label says 1500x not 1500mg.
Mine arrived with a broken seal and the cap popped off. I’m not sure I want to try them now.
Took 2 of the 1500MG REGULAR BEARS last night, kept me up all night.
I ordered the 500mg. Through a series of unfortunate events, I have learned the following. I am wiser now, and came back to pass along this wisdom:
It’s my own fault for not doing more research. But Meh, be warned. The “THC Free” label is false, and you are violating the law by selling these.
Thought you’d like to know.
@spavlis Did you get out on bail?
@sammydog01 @spavlis I really want to know more but I figure it might not be a story to share online, lol.
@spavlis @tnhillbillygal I just saw this article about a kid bringing THC laced gummies to school. I hope he didn’t get them from Meh. Yikes.
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/5-kids-hospitalized-12-year-old-brought-pot-laced-gummy-gym-222727294.html
I dunno. They’ve been really effective at tamping down anxiety. I would definitely buy them again
@mickeefynn oooh that sounds nice. I wish I would have bought these now.
@mickeefynn @moonhat Oh, great. Now I’m anxious over missing the deal.
@mickeefynn @moonhat @therealjrn
Got any more of those Gummy Bears?
Where do I buy more?
@galehill I really wish Meh would get their hands on some again.
