@pepsiwine I used to have fiber (50mbps up and down, not google), but since I moved I can't get fiber here. I just have a meager 100mbps down / 10mbps up cable connection now. I am in eastern Kansas. I see on the sales map that somebody way out in western Kansas got one. I didn't even know those folks had Internet out yonder!

Anyways, I was just being a whiner. I'm down south in the big city and I was out running enjoying the last bit of nice weather we've been having when the Fuku hit, so I wouldn't have had even the remotest chance to get one. (Yes I run at night. It's very peaceful and meditational.)

But I'm not bitching too hard about it, yet. Mostly because I'm still high from all the endorphins I get while running. But no matter how good of a mood I'm in, I never miss a chance to bitch about people from Johnson County. ;)

@medz I've hated the JoCos ever since I went to school at KU. I'd see kids around campus with unwashed hair, dressing all shabby-chic poor, like a bunch of homeless, dirty, post-modern, hippie-hobos. Then on Friday afternoon a mass exodus out of the dorms and into their BMWs and Mercedes so they could head home to party for the weekend and have their mothers do their laundry for them. Such posers.
