Broken meh button streak support group. Bestworst stories.
10Hi. I’m Tweezak and I just missed a day of meh after 154 days. My longest streak clean is 209 days.
Ok I’m a rookie at meh but I just failed after 154 days of meh button clicks. I was looking out the window noticing how dark it was getting. Checked my analog watch and sure enough it was almost 9 (pacific). I decide to check the new offering on meh.
It’s some of those stupid lamps so I click the meh button. It doesn’t show a face but just goes back to being a meh button.
You know exactly what’s happening here. I loaded the page seconds before 9 and I was clicking “yesterday’s” button because I hadn’t refreshed to see the stupid vacuums.
The other odd thing that is probably just me is that my streaks always seem to end on a Sunday. Clearly that means I’m forgetting to check meh before bed after 9 on Saturday.
Maybe I should put an alarm on my phone.
What’s your meh button story fellow meh addict.

My longest streak was over 600 days, then we took a trip to Disneyworld. I remembered to click it every day, but one of those we had pretty wonky cell service, and apparently it didn’t take my click. I had a bit of mediocre depression after that, I suppose, and only could manage a couple of weeks to a month in a streak. I’m back up to 79 now, so I think I’m doing better, but I also haven’t managed to get an IRK in quite some time now, so I’m getting the shakes
I had a hard time getting my streak to keep going because the button would spin incessantly and I made the mistake of assuming it had eventually turn into the new meh face, but it hadn’t. I finally had a good streak going, I believe over 600, but the spinning issue resumed while I was in rehab recovering from a car accident (T-boned) and my streak ended (WiFi in rehab sucked, almost as bad as the food). So now I’m up to 708 as my longest streak and hope I don’t have any further issues. Or car accidents.
I’ve never made it past a month, so I mostly gave up. Nowadays, I just try to keep the poll numbers and meh clicks on par with one another.
Also I couldn’t meh a shirt offering, so my streak was ruined from day zero.
Glancing at the heading,
I thought at first it said “Bratworst Stories.”
@Kyeh here you go. Several years ago we took a Christmas markets river cruise on the Danube. Had several delicious bratwurst sandwiches (favorite was at the Wurstkuchl in Regensburg). Most, if not all, were Nuremberg brats (skinny brats served 3 on a roll as opposed to one big sausage). Loved the mustard at the Wurstkuchl but couldn’t find anything in the US that compared… until I discovered a German foods website that imports actual Wurstkuchl mustard!!!
@j2 Oh, yummm. Thanks, that’s certainly the best wurst story I’ve ever heard! I’m envious!
October 23, 2014. Clicky, spinny, non-registering little fucker of a meh face. While my streak at that time was only something like 113, that day that didn’t register my click likely knocked me out of the absolute top tier of continuous clickers. Today I sit at 2817 days in a row. I should be at 2931. Sigh…
My profile claims I’ve clicked the damn button 3180 times, that my current streak is 40 and my longest streak is 351 days. I used to care a bit more but meh…
I care a lot more about MS Rewards, which gets me real money, most recently a $25 Taco Bell gift card, and $435 of other gift cards over the years. It takes 13-17 days to earn $5 with MS Rewards (if I had an XBox, it would be faster).
My streak there is currently 269… when a glitch happened 18 days ago that broke my streak at 251, I immediately opened a ticket with MS Rewards Support. They restored my streak after about a week. (FWIW, I’d completed the activities before 11:34 PM, and then again at 11:58 PM, but the system claimed I had not.)
I probably should automate at least part of this clicking, but some of the quizes only give points for correct answers on the first try, so fully automating it would require significant amounts of AI.
I feel much better since I gave up.
Also, I’m not very good at it.

@blaineg @ybmuG I got bored with clicking the meh button pretty early on:
Do I win?
@macromeh @ybmuG Definitely!
Clearly my best skill is not clicking every day.
I wish Meh would sell “Mehlligans” to “unfuck” your broken streak.
@mike808 Well, they’ve proven that IRKs will sell for $200, so…
I had a perfect streak from day 0 for about 3 years, the day my steak broke was my birthday, I swear I clicked it when the offer first came up but I forgot to double check right before roll over like I was in the habit of. I didn’t even do anything special during the day to justify not checking. I was pretty pissy about it for like a week and would just get mad again every time I saw the stupid click button. I stopped bothering to click at all after that.
I wonder if there are any forum regulars who have never clicked the button?
