This thing can make flour out of oatmeal. (Which I did last week for a recipe). Someone else endorsed the Mehgaritas. Just buy it, seriously.
I’d love to own a Blendtec, but got one of those Nutra Ninja refurbs a few months back and love it… I can’t justify all that extra money… The extra large smoothie size would be nice but the large Ninja cup is big enough for at least two fruits and greens…
I bought this the last time it came up and I love it. It does blend better. Even disingrates strawberry seeds in smoothies which my mom’s ninja does not.
I’m really tempted to get this for the wild side jar. I have a classic blendtec, but I could always get this in red (I have a red kitchen going) and get the jar and give my old one to my sister or my dad. I think the wild side jar is better than my 4 side.

in my opinion; to me it is no louder than others in
it’s category. I highly recommend it as it is very versatile.

That’s a pretty good price. I have one of these (not sure which one, looks the same) and it’s been a great investment as a kitchen tool.

@eeterrific I’d be more impressed if they stated it correctly as RPM. The blades are spinning – not traveling, so MPH doesn’t make much sense.
@cengland0 Oh I don’t know, just the other day I got pulled over for going 45,000 RPMs in a 3 tons zone.

I think you use the “Smoothie” setting.
@jqubed not quite- make sure you put the lid on the thing then mash the go button. otherwise it’s alcohol abuse.

The smoothie button is my favorite feature on this blender, and it fits under our cabinets. For less than $200 go for it.
