@simplersimon uhg, When Colgate came out with that 24 hour toothpaste ten+ years ago, I hated it with a passion! It sort of numbed my tastebuds for hours and my food tasted either like nothing or just plain disgusting! I'm cheap though, so used the tube til it was empty!
@MsELizardBeth I prefer the taste of my Crest cinnamon but I use Arm and Hammer variations most often because my teeth and mouth feel so much cleaner. Arm and Hammer needs a cinnamon flavor!
@jmd1033 We've been using Kirkland brand. Hubby didn't like it at first, but the other night when we were at Costco, we ended up with their brand again when he compared cost to the name brand. "It's not that bad, I'm getting used to it". (I always liked it.)
I hate the taste and aftereffects of toothpaste. My dentist says I don't need it, so I don't use it. (I do brush and floss.). But having had two crowns replaced lately that resulted in throbbing "sensitivity", I use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
it contains 5% potassium nitrate (to reduce dental pain)
@baqui63 ooh, good choice
It doesn't ruin my next meal

With flouride and other chemicals in the water do we really need toothpaste or is dry brushing and flossing enough?
