@tweezak@yakkoTDI NASCAR has road courses too. Six for 2022 with four completed. Remaining are Watkins Glen this Sunday (which is one of the best) and Charlotte Oct. 9th which is pretty meh.
@tweezak No…probably tuff to watch here on the East coast. I usually follow the Cup and Truck series. I liked the racing more back in the good ole Busch days. Still, seeing NASCAR use it’s second tier series to overcome the challenges of rain racing is a little scary. In 1995, my all time favorite driver, Mark Martin (yes I’m that old) tested rain tires for Goodyear at Watkins Glen and seemed to be impressed with them. Speaking of M.M. and Busch, I loved that Winn Dixie Ford. He “owned” that series driving only part time back then. And then came along that Kyle Busch guy…Shit
@detailer Gotta say my favorite racing is rally and Baja. Pike’s Peak is awesome too. I miss watching Sebastien Loeb in WRC.
Moto GP is also a long time favorite of mine. The Isle of Man is always epic too!
@sunshineparadox
That is dependent upon whether you like M&C to begin with. If the answer is “no”, then it is neither.
But I see it as a fast-food side far more often than as a main dish anywhere except the local restaurant “Jus Mac” whose entire menu is variations on M&C. I have never eaten there. This is unlikely to change.
@werehatrack Are you another person who doesn’t get why everyone’s so crazy about Mac & cheese? I don’t dislike it, but it doesn’t rank anywhere near the top of my favorite foods. Definitely a minority opinion, it seems.
@Kyeh Yep. I recall regarding it as “tolerable” back when I was a kid, but somewhere along about the time I graduated from high school, I stopped. Most of it just smells bad to me… no.
Mashed with gravy
Left.
@yakkoTDI Well, if you didn’t keep cornering so hard, your trunk would have a more even distribution.
@yakkoTDI Try F1 instead of NASCAR. They turn left and right.

How do they keep the goodoleboys out of the infield?
@detailer @tweezak @werehatrack The drive to work keeps an even distribution.
I do actually watch F1. This season has been fun. They need larger trunks though.
@werehatrack Hold your line.
@detailer @werehatrack @yakkoTDI They don’t. Didn’t y’all see the race at Portland International Raceway earlier this year?

Mac and cheese is not a side. It is a main.

@sunshineparadox I don’t get mac & cheese. It’s just a pasta dish missing most of the good stuff.
And stuff like lobster mac & cheese makes no sense at all.
@blaineg @sunshineparadox I’ll have the lobster mac&cheese, hold the mac, hold the cheese. Although I do like pasta Alfredo.
Chilli! If it’s not being served as the main dish it makes a great side! Any excuse for a cup of good chilli! YUM!
@Lynnerizer Chili with a side of chili.
@Lynnerizer @yakkoTDI I will occasionally top it with diced onion.
