For anyone who is interested: Graham Norton Show (which is far superior to any of our late night shows - British) Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman) & Amy Adams (Lois Lane). http://vidbull.com/ae7opi0t362b
I don't care what anyone says, I loved it... Sure it had too many story lines but that's what you guys asked for... Plus Ben Affleck was a terrific Batman and Bruce Wayne... Stop saying it was a shot movie like the newest fantastic 4, and realize although not great nor perfect, it was a good movie
Not seen this yet. But Man of Steel....Henry C looks the part and can act and wear a cape. The supporting cast was quite good to excellent. And the 1st 1/2 or 2/3 of the film was actually well above what i expected. Then came the rest of it, just a bunch of pointless cgi mayhem. Destroy stuff, fight, kiss, destroy more stuff...i wished i could have rinsed my memory off.
Hope this one's better. Do like that the C Kent glasses are making the promo tour.
I saw it Friday night. I liked it. Good action/fight sequences and the over-arching story-line of unregulated power was interesting. The opening scene was brilliant.
Take or leave Affleck. If anything he was a distraction, but it didn't keep me from liking the film overall (admittedly, it far from perfect) and did a good job setting up the subsequent movies.
@ACraigL The only thing I can agree with is Gal Gadot is stunning. She should be since she was Miss Israel. I like Affleck and Cavill and think they're both good for the roles. Just a shame this is the script they had to work with. I don't even remember the opening scene, it was that forgettable to me. Hated that they basically rewrote the entire personas of both main characters. Bruce Wayne isn't stupid enough to simply want to kill Superman and expect any other aliens would just leave Earth alone because Superman is dead. He would just be opening it up for others to take over Earth without Superman around to fight them off. And as much as I love Jesse Eisenberg, he was a horrible Lex Luthor. It looked like he studied the wrong character and turned Lex into the Joker with his constant cackling.
I keep wondering, when the fuck did Bruce Wayne have time to change out of his big boy metal suit after the fight? He went from that to his regular Batsuit and his Batwing instantaneously. All that supposed hatred and he suddenly wants to stop fighting because their mommys have the same name? And since when do they shave a convicts head completely? Buzz cut, yes. Razor shave, no. Couldn't have made up some other stupid reason for Lex to be bald before that?
Zack Snyder just tries way too hard. Good reason it's currently at 28% on Rotten Tomatoes and Deadpool is at 84%.
The deleted scene with Jimmy Kimmel (surely everyone has seen this by now) would have saved this release.
(sorry, commercial first, i think)
I actually thought it was pretty good. The people walking out of the theatre around us seemed to have all enjoyed it too.

Also, Gal Gadot is stunning.
Possible spoiler alert/bitching ahead.
