Time moves on, and I see a lot fewer hashtags outside of social media and YouTube. (The advertisers may have figured out that what the hashtag fetched was not always under their control…)
@werehatrack Now they have QR codes, because they think I’m either watching on a phone or have my phone handy to snap the image of the QR code, and that I giveadamn about their product or info. But I fool them because I’m a geezer who watches TV on a TV, ditch my phone in the other room, and mostly use streaming to avoid the commercials in the first place. I liked the hashtags better because there were subversive things that could be done with them.

@werehatrack well, hashtags expire after a month and cannot be reused to bring something up to the front page.
Yeah, that’s a bug with the system.
