@thismyusername Dollar Tree had 'em for a buck a while back. Of course those didn't come with half an Easy Eggwich or 1/4 of a DeliPRO, so there's that.
@The_Tim I did too until I got an as-seen-on-TV Magic Bullet for xmas to use in my dorm. I thought my Aunt had gotten hooked on QVC again. And then it ended up practically my best friend. And I actually just replaced it a week ago...after using it for at least 9 years. We've been through a lot together.
@brhfl The lean meaty part of bacon is what gets crispy. The fat part shrinks up and melts off--bacon grease. Cheap bacon has more fat and less meat and so it shrinks up more and probably doesn't hold a bowl shape very well. Lean bacon that is mostly meat should stay basically the same shape and just get crispy and delicious.

@primrosewater i own the schnittfix 2 Google it and check out the videos it's a pretty ingenious knife. It can be a mandolin or a guided slicing knife.it works well if your right handed. The guide doesn't move to the other side.

I bought it for the egg cooker. Probably won't work, but I'll give it a try. And I may actually use the bacon bowls. I've done it before with an upside down muffin tin, but something made for that purpose may work better.
@TheOmni , I bought a set of egg cookers at the Family Dollar several months ago for a dollar more than this bundle. I use it almost every day. I can put together an egg sandwich in less than three minutes, counting clean up time! In a 1200 watt microwave it takes from 45 to 55 seconds depending on what I add to the egg. A little Pam makes it slide right out.

Cooks the egg nicely, throw some cheese into the mix and you got a wonderful breakfast sandy in the time it takes to microwave and toast a bagel or bread. I do concur with the Pam - those eggs slide out so much easier.
You can sell all this shit at your yard sale next spring and more than double your money...this is the kind of crap I expect to see more often around here.....bravo!!

@thismyusername Well, it didn't work for us. I watched a few youtube video reviews and the only way they worked best was to buy very lean, and very expensive, bacon. But who knows, maybe you'll have better luck? 👍

My mom because we find As-Seen-On-TV crap really funny and my MIL because I'm currently dog sitting and any knife that isn't completely dull will be a welcome addition to this house, even if it can't be used for everything. I don't want to just get her a knife sharpener... Seems rude. I've already given her some kitchen implements to replace ancient, deteriorating items. One or two items a year is as fast as I think I should go. I can pass this off as a partial joke. If nothing else, I'll use it when I'm here.
Got mine yesterday. Gotta say, I'm disappointed that the bacon bowls come in bulk packaging, it really limits the novelty gag gift potential, not having 8 different retail boxes to give to people. If that was in the description, I missed it, but for the price, obviously, can't really complain. It's still perfectly "Meh."
